Beautiful place, good and plentiful meals, helpful owners and waiters, prices a little high but, we are in Castiglione.

Good food and good pizza🍕 but I don't understand why there are canned mushrooms on the pizza. If you're very hungry you have to eat the tourist menu, great!

Large, thin pizza....excellent. Clearly it won't please those who prefer the "Neapolitan" version. Courteous, helpful and professional staff.

Nice restaurant with strict opening hours for a real Italian lunch and dinner. In fact, you don't have to go anywhere else and it is certainly much more authentic than the food at the campsites.

Le Dune impressed me across the board. As soon as you enter the restaurant you can feel the warm, familiar atmosphere, which is reinforced by the friendly staff. The furnishings are stylish and inviting and immediately create a feeling of well-being. From the starter to the dessert you can feel the attention to detail and the freshness of the ingredients. The wine list is well selected and offers a selection of Italian wines that perfectly match the dishes. I can highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to our next visit, we love coming back every year and Le Dune is always part of our anticipation of our holiday in Tuscany.

The risotto alla pescatora is excellent, as is the mussel souté, but also the fried squid and prawns. The service is a little slow, but in the middle of August, in the evening it is understandable.

Locale con ampia veranda esterna, peccato non tiri un filo d’aria quindi di soffre il caldo come in una sauna. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile ad accontentare i clienti. Mi ha deluso la zuppa di pesce, porzione scarsissima, senza nemmeno cozze e vongole. Almeno, al momento dell’ordine mi erano state indicate tra gli ingredienti, ma poi non c erano nel piatto e mi hanno detto che avevo capito male io. Prezzo secondo me un pelino alto in rapporto alla qualità e quantità offerta.

06/11/2024: Dear, the beautiful and fascinating restaurant with the meat on display. But you sin in some things that have disappointed me, Tagliatella with wild boar (good tagliatelle you could tell it was homemade) but the wild boar sauce mmmmm tasted like nothing... I would revisit that sauce which should leave a taste in the mouth. on the meat well my wife's cut was put on the heat then removed and then put back on (well you certainly don't cook like that if the times were different I preferred to have the cut first but not pre-cook it and then reheat it for a moment on the fire). remember that there are not only normal customers around but there are also those who observe you. For the rest I have nothing to say, the guys are all kind and professional. mine is just dispassionate advice then you are free to work as you want.

28/12/2024: Stop for a quick lunch, we only ordered 2 first courses. Good and quality. Service a little slow....we waited quite a long time considering that the place was practically empty. Maybe outside they were busy with aperitifs but in the internal room there were 2 tables.
14/12/2024: Il Frantoio is a historic venue in Capalbio, a meeting point for an aperitif, cultural activities, also a bookshop and ecological boutique. The environment is pleasant and the atmosphere friendly. Then there is the restaurant: elegant, original and with a beautiful fireplace in winter and a beautiful terrace in summer. The food is very good and there is a good wine list. Prices a little high but worth it.
