They recommended the place to us which started out as a delicatessen. We went in to buy a slice of ham and the owner, a fantastic person, let us taste the ham and we sat down for lunch. They offered us an entree with delicious Altamura bread and olives. We ordered the ham, a first course and side dishes. It was all delicious and when the owner came by and saw that there were some leftover garganelli with herbalist and speck he asked if they weren't good and we took them home in a heat-sealed tray in a controlled atmosphere... anyway the ham was fantastic, the garganelli fabulous and the Apulian specialties of Stradone... if I were to return to Montagnana I already know where to go to eat. Good experience. You can enjoy high quality meats and cheeses at a reasonable price and in a very nice and intimate setting. In the shop you can buy the products you ate for dinner and taste others if you want to bring something with you to share with friends at home. I recommend the menus, reasonably priced but tasty and plentiful. Friendly staff. Advised !

Mainly it is a shop selling excellent quality selected food products. At the back they have a few tables where you can taste their products and a few well-prepared dishes. Owners and waitresses are exquisite people. The prices are absolutely interesting for the quality of the product.

Principalmente è un negozio di prodotti alimentari selezionati di ottima qualità. Sul retro hanno qualche tavolo dove si possono gustare i loro prodotti e pochi piatti ben curati. Titolari e cameriere sono persone squisite. I prezzi assolutamente interessanti per la qualità del prodotto. Siamo stati entusiasti della nostra sosta.

We often go on a trip to Montagnana, and this is our favorite place for lunch, local and non-local products... excellent! Then the managers are really nice and very kind, very thoughtful and friendly. The bread from Altamura, the olives, the focaccia from Bari….delicious!! Naturally we return home with a slice of raw ham, oil and taralli, which are the best ever. We suggest!

In viaggio verso Bassano del Grappa - no autostrada - ci siamo fermati a Montagnana per una visita a questa bella cittadina fortificata. Visto il viaggio, non volendo appesandirci con un pranzo formale, abbiamo optato per questo "negozio/ristorante", con buone referenze. La buona scelta è stata convalidata dall'ottima qualità del cibo e dal servizio accura, simpatico e di grande attenzione al cliente. Un più che soddisafacente piatto gran misto di salumi e formaggio, accompagnato da olive dolcissime (tanto che alla fine ne abbiamo acquistato un vasetto). I salumi variano dal sud al nord e sono tutti di ottima qualità, così gli assaggi di formaggi. Prezzo onestissimo. Ne valeva la pena. Complimenti !
