Il locale è ricavato in un vecchi stabile del « ventennio », lo staff gentile e competente il cibo ottimo. Il titolare fermatosi a scambiare due chiacchiere ci ha raccontato la storia dell’immobile che ospita il suo locale. L’accoglienza e il buon cibo fanno del posto una meta in cui ritornare.

Lunch spent with friends, I had never been before, the view over the entire plain of Lucca was beautiful. Very good and plentiful food, very good homemade pasta, you can feel that it is fresh as soon as you put it in your mouth, delicious tortelli, fettuccine with buckwheat and truffle, (real truffle) not the sauces, very good pappardelle with wild boar (for wild boar ask if they have it because you can't find it on the menu) The grilled meat was excellent and the dessert was the apple puff pastry with super vanilla ice cream! Very good prices and excellent red house wine. If you want to go, call well in advance because it is difficult to find a place as it is very small inside, while in the summer I think it also has outdoor tables.

07/08/2025: We stopped at Pierottoi that evening quite by chance. After eating so much pasta and pizza, we weren't really in the mood for it anymore... It was actually pretty stupid to go to a pizzeria then. We received very warm service from Antonella, who also spoke a few words of German and took really great care of us. She ultimately recommended Bistecca di Manzo. We were shown the T-bone steak raw beforehand and decided to go for it. And we didn't regret it – an incredibly delicious piece of meat, cooked perfectly medium-rare, with a great flavor and wonderful grilled aromas. I'm really picky about meat, but it was so tender that you could only cut some of it with a fork. The steak was served with roasted potatoes, grilled vegetables, and freshly baked bread from the stone oven. We enjoyed the delicious house wine with it. To finish off the meal, we received a glass of limoncello on the house. Thanks to Antonella for the great service, and thanks to the kitchen for the amazing meal to round off our Italian vacation. We'll be back!
