Pleasant discovery in this village in the Aosta Valley where time seems to have stopped! Enveloping and romantic atmosphere, a true pampering for body and spirit. Professionalism and kindness of the guy at the reception and the staff! Attention to the smallest details in the room: coffee machine, kettle for herbal teas with torches and mini bar with water available. Definitely appreciated little attentions that made our stay even more pleasant! Excellent breakfast, plentiful, with fresh, quality products. Especially the cakes! Recommended for giving yourself a little break from your hectic life!

Let op: dit is een heel knus en gezellig hotel met een lange geschiedenis als verblijfplaats voor reizigers en pelgrims die over de Alpen moesten trekken. Maar het restaurant is al ruim een jaar dicht. Het ontbijt in dit hotel is echt geweldig. Enorm uitgebreid, persoonlijke aandacht. Dus een prima plek om te overnachten.

Located inside the town of Donnas, along the Via Francigena, le Coeur di Ponte is a small jewel. The two guys at reception are very kind and available to offer you advice. Classic room a little small. There is no air conditioning. Unfortunately, the bathroom needs to be renovated. Good breakfast with homemade sweets, local cured meats and cheeses. The restaurant is currently closed. Parking reserved for the hotel outside the town walls, but very close.

24/01/2025: Excellent and beautiful restaurant. It can be reached by taking two Monterosa Sky cable cars. The view is admirable. Friendly and welcoming staff
16/01/2025: Already our 2nd lunch visit on only day 4 of our ski holiday. Great menu with lots of delicious local specialities. The charcuterie and cheese platter plenty for two and included various breads and caramelised chestnuts. Everything we saw others eating also looked mouthwatering. Generous portions. Service quick and very friendly. Staff all charming. Can't fault this place. Even loved their playlist! We'll be back again soon.
