During our walk around the city, we came across Le Cantine del Palazzo somewhat by accident. The digital menu made ordering easier. The food was tasty, the service was very nice.

The best food we ate so far in Italy. Everything so fresh, home-made, great home wine... Great quality for price! I would recommend it dor sure...to all the Voltera visitors.

Cena rilassante nel cortile di questo ristorante nella bellissima Volterra. Tagliolini al tartufo spettacolari e gli altri primi eccellenti ma siamo rimasti colpiti dalla buonissima Pizzicata Tonno e cipolle. Personale attento e cordiale.

We went to this restaurant taking advantage of the 20% discount with theFork app. At the entrance the place doesn't seem worth much but as soon as you go down the stairs there is a nice welcoming room full of rooms. We preferred to eat in the garden which enjoys a beautiful view. As for the food, the platter was delicious and well prepared, but afterwards we took some cuts that disappointed our expectations, the cooking was definitely ahead even though we had asked for them rare, while the side dishes were not bad even if nothing special. However, it remains a nice and informal place with kind and friendly staff.

Fair prices, but VERY small portions. Meat and beans without salt. Soup without liquid, completely dry. Peposo without pepper. But the wild boar meat was very tender! Maybe we had a bad day...

Le Mangiatoie da Tormento

30/06/2024: An incredible place. On our trip to Tuscany one night we went for dinner and the place is charming, I loved it! The food is exquisite and the attention is very pleasant.
25/06/2024: Ottimo ristorante.. Pietanze succulenti.. Servizio sala eccellente..servizio di portata con Piatti caldi.. Difficile da incontrare nella ristorazione...locale accogliente e informale... Torneremo presto. 😄
