We have gone several times, an obligatory stop when friends and relatives from outside Trieste come to visit us. Cozy place, especially the room on the left furnished with warm colors and giant photos of the Barcolana. Practically all the dishes of Trieste and border cuisine are present (excellent Fusi with chicken sauce and Gulash), both land and sea. Prices in line with other restaurants of similar range, generous portions. Particular note for the staff, very attentive to satisfying customers' needs and always working with a smile.

Today 21.12.24 we had dinner with friends, the staff were courteous and kind, but the food leaves a lot to be desired. The price for what we consumed was high.

A beautiful place, small and welcoming, the food was very good and plentiful, I think the owner is a competent and friendly person, the service was excellent, the waiters were very kind and quick, I came in with two little dogs and everyone was happy, congratulations indeed

Excellent location.. very kind staff... truly delicious food and coming from an Apulian it's the holy truth.... highly recommended!!! Book early as it's always packed.

First time at the barrels with colleagues, the staff is very kind including the owners, the food is very good, I was left with doubts about the bill. 3 plates of fried food each with 10 fried anchovies, 3 prawns, a handful of diced calamari, 3 plates each with 2 bruschettas of creamed cod, 2 plates of grilled vegetables each with 2 slices of aubergines 2 3 slices of courgettes, a bottle of red wine, 2 carafes of draft white wine and a dozen glasses of draft white wine. Total €180

I always go there willingly. You eat well and with generous portions. Impeccable service and low prices despite being in Via Torino.

Durante un weekend a Trieste, ci siamo imbattute per caso in questo ristorante e ne siamo rimaste piacevolmente colpite. Il gulash era davvero delizioso, mentre l'hamburger si è rivelato gustoso e originale. Il servizio è stato rapido e cortese, aggiungendo un tocco di calore all'esperienza. Assolutamente da provare!
During a weekend in Trieste, we stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and we were pleasantly surprised. The goulash was truly delicious, and the burger was both flavorful and unique. The service was quick and courteous, adding a warm touch to the experience. Definitely worth a try!
