In the heart of Via Torino, lively nightlife and a good selection of meat and fish.

The staff were helpful; the place was always crowded, resulting in a somewhat rushed but good food. I'd also add that the staff was extremely knowledgeable, even when faced with difficulties. I'm referring to an unexpected hailstorm, and they calmly accommodated everyone in the small restaurant. Well done!

The service was a bit reserved at first, but that might have been due to my lack of Italian. In any case, the food was delicious and ultimately everything was wonderful! Great location and definitely worth a visit! ❤️👍

Simply top the dishes, great service, price-performance ok

A well-located restaurant with plenty of outdoor seating. The service was quick and courteous. Both dishes were well-seasoned, and the portions were quite generous. The local white wine was fresh and had a pleasantly dry flavor. We were very satisfied and would gladly return.

We had dinner at this restaurant twice during our five-day stay in Trieste and were delighted with both the food and the service. As a small thank you, the waiter gave us a small gift 🤗 Excellent value for money

The first courses, appetizers and second courses were excellent, nothing to say, but the desserts fell a bit short, especially the tiramisu, where they didn't use cream but mascarpone with ladyfingers and bitter cocoa... it was good, eh... but not a 10 😅

In via Torino, nella zona intorno a piazza Venezia pullulante di locali, è facile non sapere dove andare, e come evitare i bidoni. Venivo alle Botti da quando ero studente - parliamo dunque di trent’anni fa - e anche se la gestione è ovviamente cambiata da quella volta, è sempre un luogo che offre una garanzia. Il locale è un po’ fané, ma per i triestini questo è solitamente un motivo in più per venirci, anche solo per un’esperienza da tipico buffet triestino, con vari tipi di cicchetti, come polpette (fritte, non in umido) a più gusti, melanzane e zucchine fritte, e magari un buon panino col prosciutto cotto in crosta condito con senape e kren (rafano)! Ma è anche un ristorante, e qui racconto la mia ultima esperienza. Dopo l’immancabile polpetta, mi sono deliziato con una tartare servita su salsa di parmigiano, millefoglie di melanzane e burrata, e paccheri con salsa leggermente piccante al peperone. Finale con immancabile fetta di Sacher fatta in casa. Conto sugli 80 euro con vino.
