Special mention goes to the carbonara, a real favorite, but the rest of the menu is just as tempting. Each dish exudes local tradition, with authentic and well-executed flavors. We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance on our first evening and enjoyed typical regional dishes. We loved it so much that we returned the next day for lunch—it's become our go-to restaurant during our stay in Matera. Excellent tiramisu, friendly atmosphere, impeccable service... A superb culinary discovery in a charming place! I recommend it without hesitation! 🍝✨

We had the pleasure of dining at this splendid restaurant nestled among the evocative Sassi of Matera, and the experience was simply unforgettable. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable, located on the ground floor and very spacious. The cuisine is a true tribute to Lucanian tradition: each dish is prepared with high-quality local ingredients, and you can taste the love with which the local gastronomic tradition is perpetuated. We sampled appetizers, an explosion of simple yet intense flavors, and a tender and flavorful sliced ​​Podolica beef. All accompanied by an excellent local wine expertly recommended by the staff. To finish, an excellent scorzetta di Bernalda, simply fabulous! The service was impeccable: courtesy, availability, and great customer care, without ever being intrusive. A perfect place for those who want an authentic experience in the Sassi, amidst authentic flavors and timeless beauty. Highly recommended!

A very friendly welcome, the staff speaks English and a little French, but most importantly, we were made to feel wonderfully welcome, despite arriving early for opening. It's very good; my husband, who is a meat lover, loved the meat. I had the antipasti, which was also excellent. It was perfect, thank you.

Ottimi piatti freschi della tradizione . Da provare assolutamente purè di fave con cicoria 2.0 con polpo ala griglia … divino!!! Buonissimi anche i primi : le intramontabili orecchiette all cime di rapa e i cavatelli alla lucana !

Les plats sont corrects mais sans plus. Les prix finalement assez élevés. Le service est assez moyen. Malgré les sourires, on s’est senti un oeu abandonné. La table a été à moitié débarrassé et plus personne n’est passé nous demander si nous voulions un dessert ou un café. Nous sommes finalement parti pour demander l’addition. au comptoir nous avions l’impression de gêner et je ne sais pas si nous avons eu un merci.. Bref.. Nous étions contents de trouver une table dispo alors que les autres restos étaient full. c’est tout ce qu’il en restera.
