We had a great dining experience at Le 7 Spezie in Syracuse, Sicily. We ordered the pistachio trofie, scampi linguini, seafood risotto, and grilled swordfish. The pastas were outstanding—some of the best we’ve ever had. The standout was definitely the pistachio trofie, which had a unique, flavorful sauce that was incredibly tasty and memorable. The grilled swordfish was a bit of a letdown—it came out quite dry—but the quality of the pastas more than made up for it. One thing to note: there is a €3 per person bread service charge, which is common in the area but worth mentioning. Google says the restaurant opens at 7 but when we came, it was only opened at 7:30. Overall, it’s worth a visit for the pasta alone!

For those who really love eating fish but above all eating well... the restaurant is located just outside Ortigia, in a square where you can find parking nearby. From the outside, it doesn't shine. But inside, the story changes....and definitely! The owner, Francesco, very friendly and helpful. In the kitchen the chef creates wonderful dishes. The mixed cooked appetizer is worth trying (we didn't try the raw one), in particular the sweet and sour octopus and anchovies, but also the light, dry frying. The first courses were simply SUBLIME: we tasted (they were off the menu) ravioli stuffed with red snapper with cherry tomatoes and sea bass, a generous portion of both pasta and fish, spaghettone with raw prawns creamed with a prawn smoothie, calamarata with squid, prawns, courgettes and chopped pistachios, swordfish rolls. Everything exceptional. The desserts always produced by them were also delicious, an excellent choice of wines... and even the final sorbet (offered) was very well made. Prices proportionate to the quality of the food, perhaps only the cover charge was a little excessive (3 euros per person), but we still had final attention in the bill. It is difficult to find a good place to eat well in very touristy places. Luckily, places like these exist. Don't miss it, with the hope that they will always be able to maintain this very high level of cuisine.

A lovely little restaurant in Syracuse! I ordered the linguine with scampi, and it was absolutely delicious. The waiters were very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

Excellent food! I ordered a medium rare steak and it was made to perfection. Unfortunately the sauce was a little bit too sweet for my taste but I balanced it with a lot of salt. High quality food for a reasonable price. 👌🏻
