Ristorante sito nelle vicinanze del Foro Siracusano, esternamente dice poco ma l’interno è curato e gradevole, cucina a vista. Personale attento e gentile. Materia prima di qualità. Eccellente sia l’antipasto di pesce che i ravioli alla cernia con sugo sempre di cernia. Merita. Grazie.

Eating at Francesco's is a pleasure and a guarantee, from the friendly and pleasant professional service to the impeccable cuisine for the choice of raw materials and the art of cooking them. Whenever I bring friends to eat they are always satisfied. Excellent choice also for the wine list. At the end of the meal you can't help but enjoy the freshly prepared fresh ricotta raviolines, all accompanied by top spirits. 7 spices a guarantee

Fantastic fried fish, we had ravioli stuffed with fish with lemon fish sauce and lobster pasta. The service was excellent!

Small and familiar place but tremendously pleasant. Excellent service with good quality dishes and off-menu suggestions of the day. The boss is approachable and shares fantastic recommendations on the less touristy areas of Syracuse that are worth visiting.

I ate a spaghetti with clams and bottarga E C C E Z ​​I O N A L E! The best clam pasta of my life! The rest was excellent too. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone I know! Thank you so much🥰

27/08/2024: Excellent experience. We were welcomed by Alessia who guided us in choosing the food and wine. The mixed starter and the two first courses we took were excellent. I particularly appreciated the swordfish roll and the pasta with scorpion fish. The wine, Cataratto dell'Etna, is also excellent. We will return on our next visit to Ortigia. Well done!!!
22/08/2024: Atmosphere: Almost perfect dining experience but for 2 things. We can walked in on an August evening without reservation and were accommodated by the owner/maitre de. This is a small family owned and run restaurant. Husband manages the front and wife is the chef. Food: This restaurant serves FRESH seafood if that’s what you’re craving for in Ortigia. We ordered the mixed appetizer and it was amazing. 10/10! For main course, we had vegetarian pasta (not on the menu) and whole Red Snapper prepared Sicilian style (steamed w capers, olives and tomatoes). This dish was 8/10 only because the fish was not properly descaled. Taste and presentation were great. Service: 8/10 Our server wasn’t attentive beyond dropping off the food. The owner came once to check on us after the appetizer was served. I had to get up and ask for some salt and pepper. Price: Bit on the high side. €48 for the whole snapper. Our total tab with 3 dishes, water and a glass of of wine was €100.

03/08/2024: Very good cocktails in a quiet and sumptuous atmosphere !
02/08/2024: Our experience was not as good as expected. The location in an interior courtyard is very pleasant. The service is friendly. The cocktail was passable (for example the mojito was made with lemon juice and not lemon crushed with mint). On the other hand, we didn't like the food. We had a charcuterie cheese board and a tomato and ricotta foccacia as well as a cheese bruschetta. The cheese bruschetta was very good but we didn't like the rest. The cheese and cold meats didn't seem to be of very good quality. It seems to us that you can find better value for money elsewhere.
