a unique experience to visit mattheo's restaurant. the restaurant has been in his family's ownership since 1918. the atmosphere is top notch. he helped translate the menu into english. they make their own pasta and it is really successful and tasty. i can't imagine a more hearty restaurant in milan. it is full of locals. if i come to milan again i will visit the restaurant again.

This is a simpler restaurant, so stick with pizzas and straight forward dishes - but if you do that, boy are you in for a treat! All the pizzas we tried were great and so were the deserts. Add friendly service and very reasonable prices and you understand why this place is filled every evening.

I visit this restaurant at least once a year. I feel at home, the food is good, and the prices are fair. I can't really complain. In fact, I have to say, well done to those guys! Come on 🤣

19/10/2025: The food was delicious. Despite not speaking Italian, Beatrice gave us incredible service. Definitely a perfect place to eat.
17/10/2025: We had brunch here … it took them some time to prepare the food…. However, the Coffee was great, and the salmon club sandwich was yummy as well …. Very friendly and welcoming staff 🤍

11/09/2025: I’ve been to this restaurant three times already, and every visit was excellent. The food is delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The service is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere makes you want to come back. Definitely a place I highly recommend
