Excellent restaurant serving Abruzzo/Lazio cuisine, featuring classic dishes faithful to tradition but with that extra touch that never hurts. The fresh, handmade pasta is their signature dish, with divine sauces and condiments. The arrosticini are tender and flavorful. The owner and his wife are both kind and welcoming. My only suggestion? Softer lighting would create a more appropriate and intimate atmosphere. The flavors, however, are so powerful that even this small flaw is forgiven!

One of the best carbonaras I've had in the last 43 years, thanks in part to the fresh pasta chitarrina, which made it a real highlight. The mutton stew was excellent; I think it must have cooked for several hours to be so tender! If you're used to boxed arrosticini, this place will surprise you with its handmade, larger sizes (so be careful with the quantities you order), and heavier texture! Last but not least, I recommend the mascarpone cream! Delicious!

I came back for the second time, and this lunch was also fabulous. The first courses were exceptional. The pasta I ordered was handmade. The arrosticini were delicious. And to finish off, a crème brulee. I'll definitely be back.

Everything was truly delicious from A to Z. The only flaw was not having more room in my stomach to try more delicacies. The staff were extremely kind, welcoming, and helpful.

Truly beautiful and welcoming place. Exceptional first courses with handmade pasta. The gricia is particularly delicious. Main courses (including mutton) are spectacular, and prices are reasonable. I've been frequenting this restaurant for years now, and they've never disappointed me. The ingredients are top-quality, and chef Pietrino is a guarantee, as well as a legend!

As soon as you enter the restaurant, you can hear the arrosticini being cooked. While we waited for them—five chicken and five mutton—we ordered an appetizer of Ascoli olives to share, but it's actually a portion for one person. To accompany the meat, we ordered grilled Treviso radicchio and sautéed turnips. I preferred the chicken arrosticini because the mutton ones are too strong for me. The arrosticini are small, so you'll need to order more depending on your hunger. Price €1.50 each. The final bill of €48 seems unreasonable for what we ate.

22/03/2026: I don't usually write reviews, but this time I think it's worth it, given the lovely evening we had last night. Even though I was with a large group and the pizza-and-go formula isn't usually a winning one, I have to change my mind. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive, the service was fast and impeccable, the cold cuts and fried dough were excellent, the pizzas were well-topped and generous, and the prices were in line with the current situation and, above all, the quality. The only flaw... the atmosphere. Being small, it was a bit noisy, but that's a small flaw to be expected. Perhaps just a little more attention could be given to the restrooms, but otherwise, it's an experience I'd recommend to all the uppity Pistoia residents.
24/02/2026: A decent place in a tricky location for parking. I had gluten-free pizza, provolone cheese, sausage, and steamed potatoes. Excellent. The dough was one of the best I've ever tasted. The other ingredients were also very good. I also had a gluten-free beer, which I didn't like as much. But it's a matter of taste. The staff was very kind, friendly, and pleasant.

17/01/2026: It's a large place with a good pastry shop, food, and a variety of beers, including spritzes in the evening, which are called "merenda" here. It's located on Via Fiorentina outside Pistoia.
