Last night, guests of our uncles in Rome we went to eat at the Archetto and what can I say......a thousand reasons to go back!!!!......delicious and welcoming place, excellent food (we tasted a mix of appetizers, pizzas and to finish the dessert...."shoes" with nutella.....finger licking!!! actually crazy!!! 😋😍), we were served by the owner.... .very kind and helpful person in offering us advice on what to eat ......a place that I certainly recommend 👍

It's not the first time we've been there... and every time it feels like home. It has become, for me and my partner, an enchanted place. Gnocchi with scampi cream is a dish that is nothing short of sublime. The fried prawns and calamari are dry but above all fresh. I also recommend the spaghetti with cherry tomatoes and prawns (fresh)... perhaps accompanied by a Vermentino from Sardinia... we spoke to a boy (a wonderful person) whose name we don't remember, but I think he is the owner, talking about our children (he knows what I'm referring to). Affable, very sweet, empathetic, polite... as are all the staff. Thank you thank you thank you....we'll see you again soon ❤️

A nice place in Fregene to eat a well-made pizza. Well-leavened dough, well cooked, low-rolled "Roman style". You can eat outside, but there is also a beautiful closed and air-conditioned room that is resistant to the African heat! Efficient, professional, friendly and helpful staff. Average prices.

Very friendly and helpful waiters, until it was time to pay. We were 10 guys at the table, at the cash register the waiter was making us pay in the Roman way, but we asked him if it was possible to each pay his own (customer's right), having very different accounts between us, and he said yes. Shortly afterwards, two colleagues arrived and, seeing the payment procedure taking a long time, began to say in front of us customers: “But you shouldn't have made them pay like that! This is absurd!" and then conclude in a truly rude way by saying “It's a lack of respect” addressing us. If the customers had been adults, the very kind waitress Rossana would never have allowed herself to make such a scene, it wasn't nice towards us when we simply requested a basic customer right. The waiter who had to stand at the register for 10 minutes would have had the right to be annoyed, but he still remained friendly, unlike his colleague who felt free to shout just because he was dealing with 20-year-olds. Despite this, very good pizzas and too high prices on desserts.

Camerieri molto cordiali e disponibili, fin quando non è arrivato il momento di pagare. Eravamo 10 ragazzi al tavolo, alla cassa il cameriere ci stava facendo pagare alla romana, ma gli abbiamo chiesto se fosse possibile pagare ognuno il suo (diritto del cliente), avendo tra di noi conti molto diversi, e ha detto di sì. Poco dopo sono arrivati due colleghi che, vedendo la procedura di pagamento andare per le lunghe, hanno iniziato a dire davanti a noi clienti: “Ma non dovevi farli pagare così! È una cosa assurda!” per poi concludere in modo veramente maleducato dicendo “È una mancanza di rispetto” rivolgendosi a noi. Se i clienti fossero stati adulti, la gentilissima cameriera Rossana non si sarebbe mai permessa di fare una scenata del genere, non è stato carino nei nostri confronti quando abbiamo semplicemente richiesto un basilare diritto del cliente. Il cameriere che ha dovuto stare alla cassa per 10 minuti avrebbe avuto il diritto di essere scocciato, ma è rimasto comunque cordiale, a differenza della sua collega che si è sentita libera di sbraitare solo perché aveva davanti dei 20enni. Nonostante ciò, pizze molto buone e prezzi troppo alti sui dolci.

Abbiamo provato per la prima volta questo posto alla ricerca di una buona pizza alla Romana e le aspettative sono state più che soddisfatte! Il proprietario si è mostrato da subito gentile e attento allietando l’attesa della pizza con una mozzarella di bufala di prima scelta. Locale carino e accogliente. Consigliato!
