An excellent osteria in a Venice slightly less crowded than the incessant tourist traffic. Excellent cuisine, inspired by tradition yet never banal. Bravo!

If you look for something different and a meal that surprises you in a positive way. A place with ambitious cooking and very stylish presentation. Try this nice small restaurant in beautiful Cannaregio. Great food and great wine pairing. We found the staff very friendly and welcoming. Offering detailed descriptions of both food and wine. The only critique: We really enjoyed our meal, but yes, portions are very delicate and maybe a bit small. So order several and share!

Lovely restaurant on the quieter side of town, with a wonderful wine list full of natural wines, and a lovely Spritz too. Highlights are the fried sardines, white codfish and raw fennel, bread & olive oil (seriously great!!) and Tiramisu.

We stopped by for a quick lunch and we’re amazed by the quality and freshness of the food. The raw wild fish plate was a work of art and we also very much enjoyed fried sardines with fennel mayo and vitello tonnato. (It’s funny that some people complained that they serve it cold). Exceptional service and atmosphere. 5/5
