L'Angolo Divino In Putignano

01/04/2026: I stumbled upon it by chance because it was close to the B&B where I was staying. A lovely surprise. The Materana pizza was excellent, although a bit "challenging"... when you call it a one-dish meal!!! A nice draft beer, followed by a dessert (brought up to temperature with a quick trip to the oven!) and a house liqueur!! The price was absolutely in line with the amount of food! Helpful and friendly staff. WELL DONE!!!

24/03/2026: I'm writing this review after much thought. I don't like writing negative reviews, but this time I can't help but. I went to Cantagallo a week ago with a group of friends. There were six of us on a Saturday night. We arrived at 8:30 PM, as scheduled, and were seated right away. After ordering, we had a relatively short wait for our food. Our appetizers were brought to us, followed by our pizzas in a timely fashion. I particularly appreciated the use of top-quality ingredients and the pizza. I ordered a plain one with zucchini and mortadella, and I quite liked it. What made me decide not to return? The service. Truly awful. The waiter, a man in his sixties, was excessively hasty and rude. He literally threw plates and cutlery at our table, and every time he arrived with a new course, we were afraid he'd hit us with plates or glasses in his haste. And it was only nine PM! I've worked in the restaurant business for years, and I understand there can be hectic times, but that attitude, which continued throughout the evening, was truly annoying, so much so that it made us leave without even ordering dessert.
