Nice background playlist, splendid decor, menu on paper that still resists...
We were looking for a restaurant that prepared Piedmontese cuisine as tradition dictates, and so we headed here attracted by the aesthetics of the place and the proximity.
We have no other comparisons, but both the corn gnocchi with fondue and the agnolotti with fassona sauce were certainly good results, yet nothing significant, nothing to talk about, because they are far too basic.
The bunet was devoid of any flavour.
The house bitters are good, light and grassy.
Aesthetics of plating without infamy and without praise.
It lacks love, passion, character... even the menu is sparse in its descriptions of the dishes. You get the feeling of a place from the out of place staff and dishes.
Average prices: €15-35 starters (altini), €12 first courses, €20-25 second courses, €5-6 desserts, €3 a bottle of water, €6-15 wines by the glass, € 2/c the cover charge.
Waiter - perhaps already tired when the restaurant opens; he didn't even crack a smile, the bottle of water was served hot and he forgot the bitters even though there were only three tables in total - for goodness sake, nonsense, and he apologized, but... on the other hand, the owner? at the friendly counter.
Fast table service.
I strongly suggest reviewing the staff - service and cuisine, the recipes, and the menu design because it is very awkward and 90s.
Sorry, also because having read the responses to the reviews the Management appears intelligent and courteous.

In my opinion, this is a restaurant on the border between French and Italian cuisine. It's hard to define. We were served by a waiter who spoke Polish. Service rating 15/10. Great house wine. Taglierini al ragu was tasty but a bit too dry. The atmosphere of the place is wonderful.

Vast assortment of typical Piedmontese foods of excellent quality. The place is very particular and has a pleasant and absolutely original atmosphere. Pleasant service and absolutely not excessive prices

How nice is it to be acknowledged, respected and welcomed when you come through the door, right? Impeccable service coupled with delicious and flavourful Piedmontese dishes in a dreamy setting. We will be back tonight. We had the ghoulash and the lapin dishes with a lovely local wine. This is your next stop in Torino. Enjoy.

Bella sorpresa, appena dietro corso Massimo. Locale accogliente, piccolo mondo antico.

Cibo normale, molto normale. Buono ma non eccezionale. Prezzo accessibile, forse un po' caro
