Typical Piedmontese food well done, sincere, without too many frills. Nice, quaint place. Really very friendly staff. Advised.

Very vintage place with typical Piedmontese cuisine menu, good if you want to taste typical dishes. Unfortunately, being in the center during my visit, it was very crowded so we were cramped and unable to communicate.

Lunch on January 2nd based on typical Piedmontese dishes... appetizers of raw Piedmontese meat including the famous Bra sausage, the first courses are also very good Wide choice of typical main courses and starters, perhaps the variety of first courses is a little sparse (4 plus one off the menu)... overall very good and a truly typical and welcoming place

Nice old-fashioned tavern specializing in traditional dishes with a very varied menu, also written in Piedmontese. Extensive wine list with interesting labels. Sympathy and professionalism are at home 🏡

A restaurant with a warm, timeless atmosphere. The menu (which can be had in English and even in Piedmontese) is extensive, with dishes rich in vegetables, which can be noted, particularly in this season, and good execution. Wine list with a wide choice of local wines. Very reasonable prices and the service is very friendly.

How beautiful is this restaurant in the center of Turin! Excellent service, a historic and characteristic location and high-level dishes make it an almost obligatory destination for anyone passing through Turin. We took the inevitable veal with tuna sauce, the homemade Russian salad, the gnocchi with Castel Magno, the braised meat and the famous "Grissinopoli", the pork cutlet with double breading and breadsticks, the Angolo's signature dish. And finally the traditional bonet and two non-trivial ice creams. A good bulk Barbera and an excellent vermouth to complete an extraordinary dinner. Also highly recommended for the excellent value for money.

To tell the truth, it's the first time in Piedmont. I must say that the cuisine of this place is truly excellent in my opinion. I called and after 15 minutes they found me a table for two (other people were running out) it was 2pm. The restaurant has a sophisticated and retro location at the same time with many probably original elements that refer to the past, with a certain Art Nouveau style . As you can see from the photos, many dishes of traditional Piedmontese origin so what I was looking for. The fast and quality service always attentive to the customer. Modest prices in my opinion even being in the rectangle that delimits the city center it is very close to the station. Reduced normal parking possibility. I was very satisfied with the preparation of the dishes. To better evaluate the dishes I hope to be able to return soon.

Artistic and romantic venue, with a nineteenth-century Turin style and an entirely Parisian room. Truly delicious typical food from starters to desserts. Super friendly and kind staff! I recommend everyone to come here.

Professional and kind staff...excellent cuisine

Serving up traditional and authentic Pietmontese cuisine, backed up by an excellent wine list and deserts produced entirely in house. (I was so impressed, I signed up for the Christmas Day Lunch.) This is really a very busy place so reservations are a must if you want to eat here. Some English is spoken and the menu is available in English on request. I had the Sweet Peppers with Bagna Cauda and a Rabbit cooked in red wine sauce with olives. Both were excellent. The very good house wines are available in 1/2 liter carafes, upon request. (The menu just lists 1 liter, but they have 1/2.) I had the house Barbera and it was quite good. With coffee and a very large mineral water, the total came to only 33 Euro. A real bargain for the value offered. There is a bread and cover charge added. One word of advice, if you are offered a table immediately adjacent to the entrance, decline it and request another. Given how busy they are, sitting that close to the door diminishes the quality of the experience somewhat. They take all major credit cards, including American Express. I am really looking forward to that Christmas lunch! UPDATE: As promised, we returned for Christmas Lunch. Three and a half hours of marvelous food served with such joy. All the staff take such pride in their efforts and justifiably so. It was our first experience with sausage from the town of Bra - Simply Delightful. And, the set Christmas Lunch menu featured TWO "first plates" - a ravioli AND a risotto. All of it is cleverly produced with their own spin on familiar dishes. Great selection of wines at very reasonable prices. Not to be missed when in Torino!
