A truly exceptional experience at L'Angolo del Buon Gustaio. The atmosphere was refined and welcoming, the cuisine excellent, and the attention to detail evident in every dish. We ate wonderfully, and the dessert was so good it deserved a second helping. The wine tasting was impeccable: labels carefully selected based on our preferences, a sign of true expertise and passion. Alina is an extraordinary host, capable of making you feel immediately at home! The next day we returned to eat across the street at "La Terrazza," another restaurant under the same management. Here, you can choose a different experience, with a splendid lake view, while L'Angolo del Buon Gustaio is perfect if you're looking for a more intimate wine bar atmosphere. In both cases, the food was excellent, with the same attention to detail and love for hospitality. It's clear how much Alina and her husband truly care about their establishments and their guests, and, not to be taken for granted, the entire staff! We will definitely be back in May and can't wait to visit you!

A wonderful memory! We ate wonderfully and enjoyed the local flavors, accompanied by excellent service, hospitality, and, above all, attention to detail from the owner and the entire staff. It's become unusual to find such high-quality food paired with such professionalism, making us want to return and try the other restaurant, "Alla Terrazza," owned by the same owner. A recommended stop for anyone passing through Castiglione who wants to eat well while being surrounded by smiles!

For the fourth year in a row, our family vacation ended with lunch at this restaurant and wine bar. The manager was wonderful, the service excellent, and the quality dishes ranged from appetizers with all kinds of platters and very special crostini; to the main courses with hand-cut, fresh tartar, and excellent seasonings. I also recommend the roast fillets, especially with Sagrantino, which melts in your mouth and the sauce is top-notch. The other main courses I tried were also excellent, including the cheek stew, which I also recommend. Those who love soups should also try it. They're really good. Thank you so much. Being a wine bar, the drinks are also excellent and well-recommended, depending on what you eat. You can buy a glass or bottle, which you can easily take home if you don't finish it. I hope to return next year. It's worth it.

We stopped in for lunch today based on the excellent reviews. The place is truly beautiful. We ate outside because it was a beautiful day and the tables outside are warmed by heaters and lamps. The staff was truly kind, courteous, and helpful. The young man who served us today was excellent and courteous. We ordered the gourmet platter, which my companion and I shared, along with the crostini with lard and truffle. The platter is recommended for two people, and to be honest, I expected more cheese. We often have mixed platters for lunch; we always order the larger ones because we love cured meats and cheeses, and generally only eat that, and in our opinion, it was a bit "lean," at least in terms of quantity. The cured meats were all good, and the prosciutto, in our opinion, didn't taste like much. The crostini with lard and truffle, however, was excellent. We finished with a chocolate cake, which was average. The wine, which we let the waiter choose, was excellent. We expected more, but it was substantial; we ate well and had a lovely lunch. Maybe next time we'll try the tartare ☺️ A very fair bill, €64.
