L'Angolo del Buongustaio In Castiglione del lago

Ci siamo dirette in questo “angolo del buongusto” convinte dalle ottime recensioni lette… e non posso che scriverne a mia volta un’altra! Abbiamo preso un Tagliere del Solitario in due, che conteneva assaggi di cinta senese, finocchiona e altri salumi tipici umbro-toscani insieme a un assaggio di pecorino di tre diverse stagionature. Il tutto accompagnato dalla tipica torta al testo e pane. La mia amica ha poi preso un cestino con stracciatella e scaglie di tartufo e io un crostino (che in realtà erano tanti crostini) con lardo di cinta senese e scaglie di tartufo. Tutto squisito! Non abbiamo bevuto vino ma ho potuto notare che la selezione era alquanto vasta e interessante. Consigliatissimo per un ottimo pasto nel borgo di Castiglione!

What remains typical, almost everywhere now, is the tourist/commercial imprint. The wines, if you don't spend at least €25, nothing is better, I didn't like the carpaccio.

It is not simply the corner of good taste, but a VERY DISTINCT corner of good taste. My boyfriend and I on Saturday 27th April on the occasion of the tulip festival, we were able to enjoy a top dinner: platter of local cold cuts and cheeses, delicious soup, super truffle fondue and the icing on the cake for us was not the dessert which was also delicious, but the crostini with spreadable porchetta, a real pleasure🤤 which we then also purchased. Never tried something so good!! 😋 Too bad the distance otherwise we would be regular customers. Kind and professional guys and owner. What can I say?!?! we will know where to return 😜!!! A very nice bistro wine bar, friendly and kind staff, quick and efficient organization. Good choice of dishes based on local products, excellent quality and wide choice of wines, both by the glass and especially by the bottle. Fair prices and fast service.

We went here last night, the place was recommended to us. I have to say that we are really satisfied with it. The staff was attentive and kind and the food was really delicious. I highly recommend it! The trio of tartare SPECTACULAR! thanks for everything ❤️

We drank wine and ate a cheese plate. Everything was delicious! We also got onion jam for the cheeses, amazingly good! We could sit on the terrace because they heated it for us. 🔥🍷

Excellent wine shop in Castiglione del Lago, with a well-stocked cellar. Young atmosphere with welcoming and friendly staff. We had an aperitif with a glass of superior classic Orvieto, fragrant, delicious. Actors and entertainment personalities have passed through here, as documented by the black and white photos hanging. Go there.

Durante una serata piovosa ci siamo fermati in questo locale. Abbiamo mangiato un antipasto del solitario, una ribollita e una burrata con crudo... tutto soddisfacente. Particolarità del locale è la vendita di prodotti locali.
