Few restaurateurs have the ability to create a business, an environment, a service, and a cuisine where even the simplest detail is attended to with the utmost attention.
The quality of the food is embarrassing....
I don't live nearby, but when we want to eat FISH, I know very few alternatives that are up to par....

Recommended by an acquaintance and having read the many positive reviews, we had high expectations for a seafood dinner: disappointed!
We wanted to have a seafood dinner, but with simple, common dishes to evaluate the restaurant with a view to returning.
We found it stuffy, noisy, and overly crowded, with tables packed so tightly together that waiters rushing to serve created annoying drafts. The "...you must vacate your table by 9:20 PM because the second shift is coming" shift loomed large. Efficient but cold service, a long wait before the waiter's attention (perhaps too many tables?), and slow service: a 20-minute wait for the appetizer and dessert. A treat at the end of the meal: the waitress picking crumbs off the tablecloth while we watched in astonishment (was that an early cleaning time, considering it's almost 9 PM?). In short, exactly the opposite of what you'd hope for a relaxed dinner.
The appetizers were acceptable but nothing special: the bombastic name on the menu and the presentation on the plate weren't enough. The main courses were of unsatisfactory quality: spaghetti with clams and bottarga, but without the clams visible or savoury, and spaghetti with sea urchins that were absolutely tasteless. The mixed fried fish was good (fair enough to say, but it's just mixed fried fish!). No wine list. Wine by the glass, a perfectly ordinary Vermentino, served with a dispenser that was a bit... poor (serve a few more ml instead; Vermentino isn't a treasure to be kept in a safe). In the end, we left without coffee so as not to wait any longer.
In short, a restaurant that apparently aims high, especially with its prices (!), but in reality has an ambiance and food quality (at least what we tried... perhaps the dishes were too simple?) that are inadequate for the price. We're still giving it three stars out of respect for the staff. We wish other customers continued enjoyment, but we certainly won't be returning.

We had dinner last Thursday. The atmosphere was clean and tidy. The waiters were efficient and friendly. The food was excellent. We ordered the appetizer board for two, spaghetti with sea urchins and spaghetti with clams, both of which were truly excellent. A kitchen issue caused a slight delay in serving our first courses. However, the staff apologized and treated us to a cone of mixed fried fish, light and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, another sample of focaccia with a truly delicate dough, and even two lemon sorbets at the end of the dinner. We will definitely be back!
