Locale piccolo e carino nel borgo storico. Ottimo sformato di porri e filetto al pepe verde. Noi abbiamo sofferto il servizio, troppo tempo tra i primi e i secondi piatti, tanto che abbiamo rinunciato a dolce e caffè perché eravamo troppo stanchi per l'attesa.

Deliciosa comida casera servida en un ambiente encantador! Trattoria está dentro de las murallas medievales de Barga, un lugar increíble. Gracias a Manuel en el Renaissance Il Ciocco por la recomendación! Visita el Duomo cuando estés allí!

Liver is a complicated dish. Eating it well and digesting it without difficulty is the litmus test for a restaurant that ventures into typical Italian poor cuisine. Here at Altana there is a 10-rated veal liver on the menu. Cooked with love and skills handed down from grandmother to granddaughter. With onions and lemon (secret ingredient to make the liver taste at its maximum splendor). At this point it is superfluous to evaluate the quality/price ratio because you would pay double what it cost for a dish like this. Well done. Climbing in February with drizzle and cold up to Barga...."it's worth a Mass". See you soon.

Excellent restaurant both in terms of food and fair price, excellent tagliolini with truffles, sublime tripe, warm and friendly atmosphere, good staff.

This restaurant is not very large, but perfect for having a quiet dinner in a warm, comfortable environment. The menu offers local and Tuscan choices, with handmade pasta that makes a difference and is truly delicious. All accompanied by kind service and a fair and proportionate bill.

30/03/2025: Apart from the beautiful view of our wonderful territory, I highly recommend this place, where courtesy and kindness are the setting for truly excellent and genuine products. Not only was the waitress who served us courteous and sincerely friendly, a rare quality! ,but also the owners made us feel at home. The cut is truly excellent. I highly recommend it. And think of a glass bottle of water for only 1.50! Really excellent quality/price ratio. We'll be back soon!

05/05/2025: Kind welcome. Nice place in a unique context, that of Piazza dell'Anfiteatro. Rich and varied menu, between tradition and originality. Fair prices.
02/05/2025: Passing through Lucca, I stopped in this place to sip an aperitif. Quick, kind and smiling service, very good Spritz, accompanied by an equally good Bruschetta.
