What an excellent osteria with outstanding quality! We had bruschetta, ravioli, fish, and superb desserts. The wonderful atmosphere and friendly service were the icing on the cake! Highly recommended!

I stopped in for lunch and was blown away by how good everything was. The pasta — perfectly al dente rigatoni tossed with creamy cheese and a touch of black pepper — was simple yet extraordinary. Every bite tasted fresh, balanced, and authentically Roman.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with attentive service that made the experience feel personal and unhurried. My glass of chilled white wine paired beautifully with the meal, enhancing every flavor.
It’s rare to find a place that gets both the food and the feel just right, but L’Alimentari does exactly that. A true gem in Ostia Antica — I’ll absolutely be back!

Thank you so much. We had a fantastic meal on our first day in Ostia. The food was outstanding and the service even better. If you find yourself looking for a nice place to eat after roaming around the ruins I highly recommend.

Small but welcoming, the food was excellent.
We ordered panzanella, tripe, trofie with zucchini and cherry tomatoes, zeppole with pecorino cheese on the house, and egg and cheese scoops.
Everything was good and pleasant, even the service was prompt and the girl who served us was very friendly. Congratulations to everyone!

Prima della visita al Castello di Giulio II (che in estate apre a partire dalle 13:30), ci siamo fermati qui, immediatamente davanti a una delle entrate al borghetto. Abbiamo ordinato una parmigiana di melanzane e dei ravioli ricotta, menta, limone e pomodorini. Tutto davvero squisito. Come benvenuto, ci hanno portato due polpette fritte cacio e pepe, una vera bontà.
I prezzi sono onesti, il locale tranquillo e prevede anche parecchi tavoli esterni. Assolutamente consigliato.
