Very good restaurant on the main square. Excellent traditional food.

An incredible culinary experience! Dishes blending traditional local cuisine with innovative innovation, to be savored to the fullest! My only complaint is the coffee...not up to par with the rest, both in quality and presentation. Update: The coffee has really improved... ;-) I'd also add that the attention to detail when the dishes arrive is meticulous and truly delightful. Everyone eats together even if they order different courses, the icing on the cake.

We came here for the first time on the recommendation of friends and because of the place's great reputation. After a somewhat bumpy start, given the 25-minute delay due to a staff error (the owner responded very well, offering us a glass of bubbly to help us wait), the evening continued very well with very attentive and prompt service. The dishes were very good and plentiful, and the truly exceptional tiramisu deserves a special mention. We're not giving it 5 stars due to the initial inconvenience: a chipped glass and water bottle, and the slightly high price.

Montefranco has many treasures to discover, and one of these is the authentic, refined, and deeply Umbrian cuisine of its extraordinary chef.

Excellent, from every point of view, excellent service, excellent raw materials and cooked to perfection, what can I say, truly a pleasant discovery.

This is why I come to Italy…to enjoy restaurants like L’Alchimista. Incredible food, warm atmosphere, excellent service, and dare I say a bargain for the quality. Could not recommend more. I’ve been to a number of michelin star restaurants across Italy and L’Alchimista is better than most of them.

All excellent, shame about a mix-up, but the punishment is not false.

What a wonderful experience here at Alchimista. Relaxing atmosphere, welcoming staff. Pets are welcome. And the food?!? Super top 🔝 Everything was delicious, the celeriac appetizer was thrilling, the pigeon was heartwarming. The wine pairing was perfect, thanks also to the skill and professionalism of the sommelier Genny, who is truly knowledgeable. Thank you for the wonderful experience in Montefalco. You are great, keep it up.

A very intimate and carefully curated restaurant, both in terms of the decor and the table settings. The side dishes are beautiful. The menu is beautiful and varied, a blend of tradition and innovation. The pigeon is fabulous; it's worth the trip from Florence just for that. The staff is very attentive and prompt in their service and explanations of the dishes. Highly recommended.
