L'Abate In Sorrento

We shared an octopus salad, and then I ordered cream cheese, which arrived frozen, but even that didn't ruin our meal. The waiter was very friendly and explained what each fruit was.

Update Just ate here again and different experience. Ordered t-bone steak again and we suggested 800 grams. Waiter said larger would be better so we said less than 1kg. We had to force ourselves to finish the meat and we didn't feel that great. The bill showed that the weight was way over 1kg. Nearer 1.5kg. Dined here twice. Good quality food well prepared. Ordered a large t-bone steak to share between 4. Told that it would be better if we had two. Indeed it was excellent and better than the single large one we had the week before elsewhere which wasn't cooked through. Fish, pasta and pizza also good. Maybe better to go elsewhere for pizza if that's all you want. Given a free tiramisu to compare with my wife's. It was not as good.

I recently dined at L’Abate Italian Restaurant and had a delightful experience. I ordered grilled calamari, lasagna, pizza, and lamb chops, all of which were flavorful and expertly prepared. The service was excellent, with attentive staff ensuring our needs were promptly met. Overall, it was a good dining experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine. The food was incredible, some of the best I had during my trip to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. There was a waiting time, but it was completely reasonable given how many people were dining there. The service was attentive and everything ran smoothly.

Lovely food and good service at good prices. Much less hectic than the eateries along the main road/ market, and I think the quality is better!

We had the most delicious meal here. The pasta is fresh and delicious. The atmosphere is amazing with lots of great music and friendly staff. Highly recommend! 😊

Torniamo sempre da anni in questo ristorante e devo dire che quest anno qualcosina è cambiato… partiamo dall accoglienza : il cameriere scontroso e antipatico che ti risponde scocciato e annoiato dicendoti che all esterno non c’è posto solo interno e ci sta nulla da dire ma il modo è l atteggiamento scontroso non ci sta … un plauso a Giuseppe che ci ha servito all interno .. gentile e cordiale
