A place to discover. Very good local cuisine, tasty and plentiful. The staff is kind, professional, attentive, and friendly. The decor is a mix of rustic and refined. Prices are in line with the area.

We ate sooooooo good! Appetizer: truly delicious balsamic onions and an excellent giardiniera salad made by them. I then ordered a second plate of tortelli (red radicchio, borage), which I was very satisfied with (on the radicchio ones, I added the balsamic vinegar they brought with the onions... super!!!) The desserts were also fantastic, especially the zuppa inglese. We loved the ambiance: elegant but not pretentious, and the high-backed chairs created a sense of intimacy at the table. Great choice! Prices were in line with the offerings, and the service was excellent, except for one aspect that left us a bit disconcerted. The person who came to take our dessert order smelled strongly of cigarette smoke—a truly strong, unbearable odor. It's a shame about this aspect, because up until that point we had perceived a sense of cleanliness and rigor. For this aspect, which I consider essential, I wanted to take a star off, but everything else was impeccable. So I hope this review, along with that of at least one other customer who noted the same thing, can help those who work there avoid smoking while working, especially if they come into close contact with customers. The smell of cigarette smoke is a bad calling card, just like the smell of sweat, although the latter is more understandable and not carcinogenic.

The food is average, good but not special. It's a traditional place. The bill is steep.

I'm in the Reggio Emilia area with a colleague, and we decide to have dinner at this cozy trattoria. The interior is well-maintained and welcoming, and the food is good, but the prices, in my opinion, are a bit high. Twenty euros for a duck leg and sautéed chicory seems decidedly too much. However, the appetizer of mixed cured meats accompanied by fried gnocchi was excellent. The waiter was kind and helpful, but there was a rather unpleasant smell of cigarettes and alcohol. I usually don't notice, but in an environment like this, I wouldn't have expected it. I'm sorry, but I don't think I'd return.

We returned to Reggio Emilia and, as always, stopped to eat at the best osteria in all of Emilia Romagna. The food is excellent; when you eat here, you understand what it means to be Italian. The pumpkin never disappoints! The owner is polite and friendly, a rare find. Renato, the waiter, perfectly represents what a restaurant should offer. We can't wait to return.

I came for lunch with friends and family. From the moment I walked in, I felt at home thanks to the owners' hospitality. There was little waiting and the dishes were excellent, especially the pumpkin tortellini with butter because, although a little sweet, you could taste the pumpkin itself. If you don't like overly sweet flavors, I recommend the pumpkin tortellini with soffritto, as the soffritto masks the excessive sweetness of the pumpkin. The meat was good and well-cooked. The place is wheelchair accessible as it is on the ground floor with no steps at the entrance and has dedicated restrooms. Parking is ample and sufficient for the restaurant.
