We went there yesterday for lunch; we'd been looking for a local trattoria near Reggio Emilia and decided to try this one, partly because its name reminded us of seasonal produce. The staff was friendly and helpful, the service was fairly quick, and we even found a table without a reservation. The menu is available via QR code, divided into appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes, and desserts. There were plenty of local products to try, but in the end, we opted for a nice platter of cured meats and a taste of parmesan and gorgonzola. This was followed by cappelletti in broth and chicken skewers with vegetables on the side. As for the appetizer, there was nothing to complain about; the cured meats were good and the cheese was amazing. The cappelletti weren't bad either. The only downside was the main course: the chicken skewers had a nasty, almost bitter flavor and were inedible. I still can't figure out what could have ruined that dish so badly. I didn't like them at all. Prices are a bit high, with a €6 cover charge for two and €5 for two coffees. Street parking is unattended.

We ate sooooooo good! Appetizer: truly delicious balsamic onions and an excellent giardiniera salad made by them. I then ordered a second plate of tortelli (red radicchio, borage), which I was very satisfied with (on the radicchio ones, I added the balsamic vinegar they brought with the onions... super!!!)
The desserts were also fantastic, especially the zuppa inglese. We loved the ambiance: elegant but not pretentious, and the high-backed chairs created a sense of intimacy at the table. Great choice! Prices were in line with the offerings, and the service was excellent, except for one aspect that left us a bit disconcerted. The person who came to take our dessert order smelled strongly of cigarette smoke—a truly strong, unbearable odor.
It's a shame about this aspect, because up until that point we had perceived a sense of cleanliness and rigor. For this aspect, which I consider essential, I wanted to take a star off, but everything else was impeccable. So I hope this review, along with that of at least one other customer who noted the same thing, can help those who work there avoid smoking while working, especially if they come into close contact with customers. The smell of cigarette smoke is a bad calling card, just like the smell of sweat, although the latter is more understandable and not carcinogenic.
