By far one of the best family operated restaurants in Milan. Having served the neighborhood for over 50 years, and won the Milan's Excellence Award by the "Comune", the restaurant offers traditional (tasty) food, great family atmosphere, and no-bs service. Nice place that creates a family atmosphere. Average menu and well-executed dishes. Honest account, there is the right quality-price ratio. The only negative note concerns a slip by the owner, while talking to a customer you cannot go and say hello to an acquaintance at the nearby table without returning and continuing the order.

Everything ok, good service but I had specifically asked for a Florentine that was mooing, they brought me a medium cooked one, I could have asked to change it but I was with friends and I didn't want to be a pain in the ass.

It was my parents' first restaurant when they moved to Milan in 1963.
Today I continue the tradition for them as the son of the then owners who still offers excellent value for money and a vast choice of seasonal meat or fish dishes. On Saturdays it is advisable to book.

Historic restaurant since 1963, excellent value for money, wide choice of both meat and fish dishes. Attention to seasonal dishes and professional and very courteous staff, including the owner who carries on the tradition of the family restaurant. Highly recommended, for us who live in Udine it has become a fixed stop when we are away in Milan.
