La Vena di Vino In Volterra

Een wijnbarretje met minimalistische inrichting en zeer klein. Binnen slechts enkele tafeltjes. Gelukkig was het aangenaam weer en konden we buiten plaatsnemen. Ook daar slecht 4 tafeltjes met meubilair waar je geen uren op kunt doorbrengen. Het is een bar waar vooral locals komen. De rode wijn was lekker maar de glazen niet passend bij de kwaliteit van de wijn.

Great atmosphere in a friendly local place. Very nice wines especially the Brunello di Montalcino should be tasted whenever you come through the city. Extremely friendly owners and staff as well as some good cheese and other small dishes that go well with wine.

La Vena is an institution, a milestone here in Volterra, a place of resistance. Good and sincere people, like the wine they pour you, few frills and a lot of substance. The way we like it.

Non sembra e non è un bar solo per turisti. Buoni i prodotti alcolici toscani specialmente per la valorizzazione del territorio. Da bere senza ghiaccio.. ne mettono troppo
