La Vela In Viadana

They've moved out of the center of Marina Di Castagnetto, towards the dog beach. Still just as good. Every year we come back to enjoy their delicious pizzas during our holidays in Marina Di Castagnetto. Lovely, quiet terrace, close to nature. Easy, free parking in front of the restaurant. Reservations are possible. Smiling and friendly staff. The tables aren't crammed onto each other, which is nice. Plenty of space for groups.

Unfortunately, we only discovered the restaurant at the end of our vacation. Otherwise, we definitely would have come much more often. The food was delicious, the menu is really great, and there's a wide selection.

Tried it last night for the first time. I went for a pizza and a dessert to take home. The atmosphere is very refined and well-maintained, and the friendly staff welcomed me right away, and I didn't even have to wait long for my pizza (despite there being several people at the tables). The pizza was good, with bold and pleasant flavors. The only reasons I didn't give it full marks are two: the pizza prices (actually not much different from most pizzerias these days, but a bit high in my opinion) and the dessert. I had a Nutella Cheesecake, which wasn't bad, but I struggled to finish it because there was something off about the dough that I couldn't quite identify; I think it was cinnamon. In any case, I recommend it if you want a quick pizza or if you want to dine out while staying in the area.

A new location, just a few years old, very well-kept and clean. The staff welcomed us warmly and were always available (factors that should be the norm become strengths in a seaside resort where tourism is the driving force of the economy, and unfortunately, that's not always the case!!!). Varied menu and reasonable prices! We'll be back! The only flaw: the smokers hanging around the doors don't make the interior very welcoming!

Truly an excellent pizzeria-restaurant. The atmosphere is super welcoming and the service is prompt and very courteous. Excellent dishes with a focus on tradition. The pizzas are in excellent condition and offer a truly wide selection. Highly recommended!!

A truly delightful experience! Despite the late hour, the restaurant was extremely accommodating, finding us a table without any problem. This was a gesture that was far from expected, especially at the end of the service. The staff was always friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel welcome from start to finish. An excellent demonstration of professionalism and kindness that definitely deserves to be highlighted. Highly recommended!

We were absolutely thrilled. The food was perfect, from the appetizers – the fried pizza pockets were amazing – to the tagliatelle with seafood, and finally the pizza. I had a pizza with Gorgonzola, ham/bacon, and apple for the first time in my life. It was incredible! We'll definitely be back. 5 stars +++
