La Vecchia Scuola In Terralba

Sunday lunch with the family to celebrate two birthdays. The place was packed. The atmosphere was lovely, and every time I return, it gets better and better: the outdoor area, in particular, has become a lush, well-maintained garden, a delight to look at through the large windows. The food was incredibly fresh and well-cooked. The traditional fish appetizers, the seafood fregola pasta, and the trofie pasta with fresh shrimp and saffron were amazing. The fried calamari were delicious. The service was perfect: the staff is a tight-knit team of active, cheerful, and helpful young men and women (Cristian deserves a special mention, as he took special care of us: it's rare to find such levels of courtesy and professionalism in such a young man). I recommend everyone to stop and eat at La Vecchia Scuola: a true gem not only in Marceddí but in the entire surrounding area. Special thanks to Massimo, who leads and manages it with love and dedication.

A seafood restaurant with high-quality dishes. I recommend the seafood appetizers and the fabulous mullet. I recommend the tasting menu on Saturday and Sunday for lunch, indoors, in the cool air...in the evening after sunset, there are mosquitos...the best restaurant in the area. I repeat, fantastic food & excellent service...very good...

Very good and tasty fish dinner!

Family dinner. Everything we ordered was truly delicious, from the mussel soup to the spaghetti with clams and bottarga, to the pasta with octopus ragù. The main courses were also excellent, both the mixed grill and the fried calamari. All this was accompanied by a short wait and a very friendly service. We'll be back.

A holiday evening served in a welcoming, family-friendly setting. Friendly and attentive service. The food (we had pizza) was excellent. No surprises at checkout, and a truly pleasant conversation with the staff before saying, "See you next time."

We tried a bit of everything: appetizers, pizza, first course, and a second course, then seadas. There were a few imperfections, but nothing serious. We ate well and were reasonably priced, so if you're in the area, feel free to give it a try. The staff was also friendly.
