I really liked it, the atmosphere was nice and the service was quick. Good food, generous portions and democratic prices.

Excellent typical Italian cuisine. Excellent service, they were accessible to an English speaker. Great wine recommendation along with other food items. Massive raw fish platter for 28E (it would be double that back home ) , great fried fresh fish. Only slight negative was the polpo was slightly too charred. Loved it in sum.

We arrived without a reservation and were welcomed (I specify this because they had already turned us away elsewhere); We ordered the paccheri with lobster and they were AMAZING, especially appreciated the half lobster served to eat. We also ordered the fried food and they were EXCELLENT. The waiter was not oppressive but not invisible either, so every little request was satisfied. When it came to the bill, I think that the quality-quantity-price ratio was the best. A plus point for the environment, the room was welcoming and with a very low noise level. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT

Il locale non è molto grande e per questo bisogna prenotare in tempo anche perché è molto frequentato dai leccesi. Il menù offre piatti tipici leccesi, molto gustosi e molto abbondanti. Il servizio è buono, da trattoria, molto gentili i camerieri. Rapporto qualità prezzo da 1 a 5 = 5

Un menù invitante e delizioso. Peccato essersi fatti irretire dall antipasto e dal primo per non riuscire poi a degustare il secondo che sicuramente avrebbe meritato un assaggio. L antipasto di frittini e crocchette era una meraviglia, così come le sagne e i ciceri e tria.

14/07/2025: Fantastic! We popped in for a quick lunch for 6 people. The whole concept felt genuine. Very good service from friendly staff. They were attentive without being intrusive. We shared a mussel dish as an antipasto. Absolutely delicious! Then we each chose a pasta dish, all of which were very good. The atmosphere was calm, although there was room for smaller children to play near the tables. Can really recommend SalentOsteria.

22/10/2024: Discovered by chance on a Sunday while searching on various platforms for a place to have lunch with the family. Excellent experience not only for the food but also for the friendliness and courtesy of the owner who cheered up the duration of our stay, we will definitely return!
