Good food for good prices. It's big portions and good prices. Almost everything we wanted to order was sold out. Plain water was out, mussels, cockles, sausage too but they managed it well in the end. I ordered a seafood pasta but it came without clams, just squid and prawns. Cozy outdoor seating by the street and friendly staff.

A passeggio a Lecce con una coppia di amici, siamo arrivati in questa location alle porte del centro storico, quasi attaccata alla multisala 'Massimo', forti anche della parola magica 'osteria'! Per esperienza sappiamo che in un'osteria è molto facile mangiare specialità locali, con rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimale: così è stato!
Il personale in sala si è dimostrato molto cordiale e professionale, con servizio abbastanza veloce e qualche suggerimento ad hoc, poi rivelatosi molto utile.
Ampia scelta di vini in bottiglia, anche se noi abbiamo preferito il vino sfuso. Gli spazi sono molto ristretti, ma l'atmosfera è gioviale.

My “go to” for traditional Salentino fare. A busy kitchen and so I recommend reservations. The food is great, fresh, well prepared. My local friends introduced me to the Osteria Vecchia da Totu and it’s exceeded expectations. A short walk from Piaza San’Oranzo.

Very nice experience in this restaurant. The dishes are of high quality and we were very well received. There were 6 of us in the middle of August, the staff managed to find us a small place inside under the air conditioning. THANKS !

The owner is a long-time innkeeper. The kitchen is his kingdom. The dishes are excellent and the staff is very professional and kind. Average costs but you can taste traditional dishes and eat very well. We recommend the horse fillet which is so soft it melts in your mouth or the excellent pieces in sauce. Sweet???? Franchini's cassata is amazing

Osteria tipica salentina in pieno centro storico di Lecce. Pietanze tipiche ben cucinate con prodotti di qualità. Personale cortese e professionale prezzi molto onesti con grande varietà di piatti sia di terra che di mare. Locale assolutamente da visitare. Unico problema la mancanza del parcheggio quindi la difficoltà di sistemare l'auto è grande.
