Invited to dinner by one of my best friends, my first experience at La Vecchia Casa was truly a wonderful experience. Pellegrino and his staff offered many traditional dishes with the best local raw materials. The three parmigiana of artichokes, aubergines and coppery onion from Montoro are textbook. Local meat that melts in your mouth, a grilled provola with porcini mushrooms to which Pellegrino added grated scorzone truffle from Bagnoli Irpino, chantilly tart and strawberries to finish. Dinner from another planet, rarely eaten such good meat, starters and desserts. Strictly 0 km products prepared with the simplicity of home and excellent quality. Very nice owner/host who contributes to the excellent final result. Absolutely fair quality/price ratio. To return again and again.

Questo ristorante è stata una vera scoperta in quanto è stato ricavato da una vecchia casa. Il punto di forza è la carne alla brace e gli antipasti. Il personale è molto gentile e i vini sono di alta qualità con un buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

We went to the restaurant one evening a few days ago.... FANTASTIC!
Excellent restaurant, high quality, friendly staff and spectacular food.
Lino, the owner, explained each dish on the menu to help us choose and, the most important thing that we appreciated most was that each dish is based on local, typical and seasonal products.
