We ate well but not very well in the first course with the truffle practically invisible... better not to put the truffle on the menu if it isn't super!! Sometimes doing simple things well is better than wanting to overdo it and then not succeeding

Homely atmosphere with simply perfect cuisine. You immediately feel at home. The owners are wonderful people who convey their passion through their dishes. We tried the first courses (tagliatelle with duck) and the tagliatelle with truffles and porcini mushrooms. Absolutely must try! A fairytale landscape surrounds it.
An update regarding the accommodation, we stayed 3 days and it was extremely pleasant. A silent environment, large rooms, unique cleanliness and courtesy. Thank you Cristina for your availability and kindness. Recommended for those who want tranquility and an excellent base for moving around the area. Thank you!

I'M SCARED of what I'll say because then the prices will increase 😂😂..
So let's start with the wine, something exceptional, I would say divine... First course based on mushrooms, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and Picci with cinse and porcini mushrooms, mmmm delicious.
And for the second course we shared a mixed grill of phenomenal beef. I wasn't able to take a photo because as soon as the dish arrived I devoured it. Compliments to the staff. I recommend it.

The place is very beautiful and the atmosphere is super familiar and local. Although we felt very comfortable with the treatment of one of the waitresses, who accompanied us and explained details about the local food with great kindness, there were some people on the staff with whom we did not feel so comfortable and in fact we felt that we did not They were interested in us being there, perhaps because we are tourists. We wanted to try the famous bistecca alla fiorentina, which is traditionally served here “a sangue” which was good but we didn't think it was a big deal, especially considering the price and quality of this dish. The tiramisu and garnishes were very delicious. In any case, I would give it a second chance because it was one of the 2 recommendations they gave us at the hotel and we trust that it must be one of the best in the area.

Una garanzia, ogni anni ci torniamo quando passiamo da Siena. Gentilezza dello staff e ottimi piatti tipici, buona la carne. Mi raccomando continuate così, non cambiate mai. Ottimi i dessert.
