An excellent, traditional Tuscan restaurant, perfect for enjoying traditional dishes in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. The prices are truly fair for the quality, which is excellent in every way. The pasta dishes are generous and full of flavor. The Florentine steak is simply spectacular: tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The staff is incredibly friendly and always available, making the experience even more enjoyable. A highly recommended place for those who want to experience authentic Tuscan cuisine without breaking the bank.

Family atmosphere, exceptional owner and staff, and apologies for the (absolutely negligible) delay in service due to technical problems. At the end of the dinner, a great chat with complimentary vin santo and cantucci! A truly memorable experience for my family and I. When we return to Tuscany, it will be a definite stop.

La Valserena is a lovely restaurant set on a little hill, giving it a charming atmosphere. The food is excellent with authentic dishes that taste homemade, and the service is professional and welcoming. Parking is easy and free. Prices are fair for the quality you get, making this a great spot for both locals and visitors.

A recommendation from our host, and a lucky find. We didn't have a reservation, but we managed to get a table in the "Wintergarten" – just before a major thunderstorm hit the area. Very friendly and quick service, even though it was incredibly busy. Delicious food (primi piatti). Definitely recommend it.

Beautiful restaurant with a lovely view. Nice, friendly staff. They serve all-you-can-eat meals, as well as daily specials. Pizza wasn't available that day. The food was very tasty. There are a lot of Italians there, which says it all. So, it's best to make a reservation.

I had dinner at Valserena with friends and wasn't happy. I really appreciated the duck cured meat offered for the wait, even though it seemed more than normal. The appetizer crostini were stale and not crispy, and the rest of the cured meats were absolutely nothing special. The duck breast steak was a bit dry but tasted good. Of course, for €22, I expected at least a side dish, but the spinach pictured was ordered separately for €5. I wouldn't return. I didn't like the waiter who started clearing the table with a cigarette in his mouth toward the end of the evening (we were still seated at the table).

We were walking along the Via Francigena and took a detour to eat here. On Sunday at 1 pm, we found a table right away; they were very helpful and friendly. We tried (and approved) the pecorino cheese platter, the homemade artichokes, the Cinta Senese pici, the pumpkin ravioli, and the mixed grill.

They really know how to make you enjoy real Tuscan cuisine with joy

Wunderschöner Abend mit der Familie – rundum gelungen! Wir waren zu viert mit der Familie zum Abendessen dort und es war einfach großartig. Die Atmosphäre war herzlich und entspannt, das Personal aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Speisekarte bot eine tolle Auswahl an regionalen Spezialitäten – frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und geschmacklich hervorragend. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das hausgemachte Pasta-Gericht und den lokalen Wein, der perfekt dazu passte. Auch unsere Kinder haben sich wohlgefühlt, was nicht überall selbstverständlich ist. Das Ambiente – ob draußen unter den Lichtern oder drinnen gemütlich und stilvoll – hat den Abend zu etwas ganz Besonderem gemacht. Ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis, das wir bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt auf jeden Fall wiederholen werden. Absolute Empfehlung!
