The place is very busy - but they accept bookings. Had the zucchini parmigiana, and it was tasty. Service was good even though it was peak time.

We tried this place due to local recommendations. It was not a bad experience cause the place is pretty nice and the service was fast and fine. But the food was not as delicious as expected. My choice from Primi Piatti was totally cold (after i realized it should be cold), but I didn’t expect it considering there was a separate section for “Cold meals”. The vegetables were “swimming” in olive oil. And there were no coctails at all.

It is my favourite place in Bari. They serve authentic local dishes, but not pasta. Although they do not have a menu in English, it is not by accident or negligence. It's part of their business policy. Also, the staff speak excellent English and are happy to tell you the story of each dish. They serve excellent wine as well. I have always had a good time and great meals there.

If you are passing through Bari and want to try the typical cuisine, this place is really worth it. We ate very good traditional dishes, with authentic flavors and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff was kind and we felt welcomed.😊

Per cena in questo tipico locale nella Bari vecchia con piatti della tradizione un menù molto ristretto e basato sui piatti della città ...buone le terrine da noi scelte come antipasti e a seguire riso patate e cozze (buono) mentre le melanzane alla parmigiana sono state un pò criticate dalle cuoche del gruppo ... cmq un buon indirizzo per chi cerca quei piatti tipicamente baresi ...

Le cose ordinate erano buone, riso patate e cozze da prendere. Mi aspettavo un menu più tradizionale, non fanno pasta ed orecchiette. Decisamente non ci siamo con il servizio che avrebbe meritato un punteggio inferiore...abbiamo sentito parole e toni decisamente poco carini da parte del personale che si lamentava di altri clienti presenti. Se proprio dovete, magari fatelo a chiusura e tra di voi ma non durante la serata Non ci tornerei.

05/06/2025: Appreciated the bathroom, because it was clean and equipped. The artisanal desserts only on weekends (we opted for fresh strawberries and cream since we passed during the week). Anyway, compliments for the quality and flavor of the raw materials. We will return..
