It's worth it! Traditional local dishes at a super fair price. I would go back.

Great place for the atmosphere and food alike, especially for small plates and traditional local options.

Tourist trap, the service was terrible. The place was very messy and the food was horrible. I don't recommend going to this place at all.

Our host recommended La Uascezze in Bari's old town – and we were definitely not disappointed. The restaurant is beautifully located in the historic center and, with its rustic, classic decor, exudes true southern Italian charm. The food was fresh, traditional, and simple, just what you'd expect in Apulia. If you enjoy authentic cuisine, you're in good hands here. Prices are mid-range – absolutely fair for the quality. What unfortunately left a negative impression was the situation with the restrooms: The women's restroom was completely out of service, and the only usable restroom (actually the men's restroom) was neither lockable nor particularly inviting. Especially in an otherwise lovingly run restaurant, this is a real shame and should be urgently improved. In conclusion: If you value good food and an authentic ambiance, you should definitely visit La Uascezze – but it's better to find the restroom somewhere else first. 😉

A restaurant with a tasting menu of four cold, three hot, and one main course for €25 plus drinks and service. You can discover local dishes that aren't so obvious. The house wine is quite tasty. It's worth making reservations if you want a table outside.

You can't believe the variety of flavors and options. We tried the menu, which includes nine different dishes. Crazy. And a great price!

Per cena in questo tipico locale nella Bari vecchia con piatti della tradizione un menù molto ristretto e basato sui piatti della città ...buone le terrine da noi scelte come antipasti e a seguire riso patate e cozze (buono) mentre le melanzane alla parmigiana sono state un pò criticate dalle cuoche del gruppo ... cmq un buon indirizzo per chi cerca quei piatti tipicamente baresi ...

Le cose ordinate erano buone, riso patate e cozze da prendere. Mi aspettavo un menu più tradizionale, non fanno pasta ed orecchiette. Decisamente non ci siamo con il servizio che avrebbe meritato un punteggio inferiore...abbiamo sentito parole e toni decisamente poco carini da parte del personale che si lamentava di altri clienti presenti. Se proprio dovete, magari fatelo a chiusura e tra di voi ma non durante la serata Non ci tornerei.
