La Traviata In Bologna

The restaurant is a lovely rustic restaurant reccomended to us by our hotel and which we thoroughly enjoyed. The food was so good we actually came back again for more. It was very popular, would reccomended booking in advance, but the food was great and you can get a table if you arrive early.

I would say this is a great place to eat. Food was superior. Very happy they had Armagnac. I personally ordered the braised cheek with masked potatoes. The house chianti was nice. Service was great. Only issue is there was a long wait for one of our dishes to come out. Recommend!

I highly recommend it! This restaurant was recommended to us by a local. We had the tagliatelle with meat sauce and the gramigna with sausage, both very good. The waiter was very kind and friendly.

A traditional osteria in the heart of Bologna, just steps from Piazza Maggiore. Informal atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent food! Great value! My husband and I come here often, and La Traviata is always a great choice!

Good quality lunch, carefully prepared, typical Bolognese dishes.

Excellent traditional osteria. Delicious tortellino with parmesan cream, good passatelli and zuppa inglese. Overall, I saw some lovely dishes pass by. My bill was €33 with two glasses of wine and water.

Great restaurant, highly recommended. The staff is super friendly and very communicative. A place where you feel at home.

Osteria nel cuore di Bologna con un menù apparentemente tipico, ma che non mi ha convinto del tutto. Da bolognese, mi aspettavo una maggiore attenzione alla tradizione, soprattutto sulla cotoletta alla bolognese, che è stata un po' deludente, una cotoletta impanata stile milanese con sopra una fetta di prosciutto e un po di salsa di parmigiano molto liquida... L’avrei chiamata in carta “cotoletta alla bolognese della Traviata” per chiarezza, perché dalla tradizione è distante. Crescentine e salumi invece buoni e ben serviti. Altro piatto non soddisfacente un antipasto, carpaccio di pere con gorgonzola e noci, per €12 mi aspettavo maggiore cura. La pera era tagliata con l’affettatrice lasciando torsolo e semi. Un dettaglio non trascurabile, soprattutto su un piatto semplice dove la presentazione e l’attenzione fanno la differenza. Nel complesso, esperienza altalenante. Non escludo di tornare, ma non è tra le mie prime scelte.

Personale molto cortese in accoglienza e perfetto per il servizio al tavolo. Ordinata la cotoletta alla bolognese, molto buona con contorno di verdure di stagione. Finalmente un ristorante dove si serve anche frutta fresca.
