The food was okay. The waiter's service was unfriendly. He got annoyed when we asked for ice. There are other places with much better service. I don't recommend it.

Steak Florentine, medium rare was Devine and the service was exceptional. Price was best I’d found in Florence, a bargain when you factor in the location and ambiances.

This family-style gem offers not just incredible food, but a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. The Florentina steak here is truly exceptional—easily the best in town. What made it even more special was the thoughtful presentation: the staff brought the raw steak to our table, explained its cut and origin with care, and let us decide before placing the order. This respectful and engaging approach reflects their deep pride in what they serve. And then came the highlight of the night: the boss himself, joined by another staff member, appeared at our table wearing sunglasses and channeling full-on Salt Bae energy—presenting a gigantic raw T-bone steak (20kg+) for photos. It was theatrical, hilarious, and deeply endearing. That moment wasn’t just for show—it was a celebration of Tuscan cuisine, a salute to guests who appreciate it, and a simple yet powerful expression of Italian pride. Once served, the steak was perfectly seasoned, infused with vibrant herbs and kissed by the smoky flavor of the charcoal grill. The surface had a satisfying crispness, while the inside remained tender and juicy—absolutely mouthwatering. It was the kind of dish that makes you want to return again and again. Their pastas were equally impressive—authentic, rich, and bursting with the flavors of Tuscany. Every dish felt like a tribute to tradition, made with love and skill. Service was warm, attentive, and genuinely heartfelt. The ambiance was relaxed yet vibrant, perfect for enjoying a slow, delicious meal with good company. Absolutely lovely! Tucked away in a cute little street, this Trattoria surprised us with delicious food, very authentic and kind service, very cozy interior. We loved it and had a beautiful time here, thank you so much!

Outstanding! The best restaurant in Florence. We ate here two nights in a row and it was absolutely fantastic. The restaurant is clean and cosy with a nice relaxed atmosphere The food, as it should be, is the restaurants strong point. Every dish we had over the two nights were top class. Fresh and tasty with good portion sizes. Thank you to the owner and his lovely wife along with the rest of the staff. My daughter and I had two fantastic nights in your lovely restaurant and we will see you the next time we visit Florence! Just to add, we ate here again a year later, the restaurant is still outstanding. We will again eat here when visiting Florence in the future. Grazie Mille

One of the most memorable meals we've ever had. Alessandro and his staff are all legends. Made us feel so welcomed and comfortable, adding to the whole dining experience. The venison ragu is the best ragu we've had, and the generous spaghetti with truffle of course had to take centre stage. Simply stellar food and wine, complete of course with delicious tiramisu and espresso.
