A great option for eating in Meraggio. Good food, several choices and prices. The calzone was delicious, and the pizza with burrata was also very good.

Excellent! Delicious pizzoccheri and top-notch mushroom tagliatelle! I haven't tried the main courses, but I'm sure they're excellent, too. The house wine is excellent. The price is fair.

We were visiting the town the last weekend of November and stumbled upon this place while looking for something to eat, and it was a great find. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent and fast. Then, when it came time to pay, we saw they had Panettone, and the owner took us to the side where they have their pastry shop, which has been around for many years. They invited us to try the Panettone, which was amazing, and we bought some pastries (of course!) haha.

Cozy place, very good product and excellent service! Considering where we were, the quality-price was good, the portions were sometimes generous. The gentleman (we assume he was the owner) is very friendly! He also showed us their own pastry shop, and we were impressed, very cool and they have a variety of sweets to choose from (we took an artisanal Panetone and it was delicious!)

Antica Trattoria Benzoni

06/09/2025: One of the best gelatos in the area! Also recommended for aperitivo, where unlike many places, they serve chips and various appetizers.
24/08/2025: A friendly and welcoming place, ideal for breakfast in the morning and a good local beer for aperitivo. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is truly kind and helpful, and the patrons are very sociable. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Special thanks to the ladies serving tables: some of them also speak English and French, which is a great help for foreign customers. Bravo!
