The place, the staff, the wonderful food. You feel pampered, but with great professionalism. The dishes are a revisitation of our typical dishes, reworked with great skill. The price is in line with what's offered. 10 out of 10.

Absolutely delicious food, very friendly server who made every effort to help us understand the different dishes. The decor is unique and the ice cream is delicious. At the end of the meal, we learned about the ethos of the restaurant, which works with a local farm and seasonal products. PERFECT

Excellent restaurant 👍 The food was delicious, and the server was very friendly and pleasant. Everything is homemade and comes from the family farm! FYI, dogs are welcome and pampered 🐾 I highly recommend this restaurant if you're stopping in Caglieri.

This restaurant offers absolutely fantastic food. A five-course menu at an absolutely ridiculously low price. We opted for the more traditional sheep and goat menu. It was absolutely fantastic. To start, we had various sheep's cheeses with honey and fine homemade whole-grain bread. Then a sheep tartare with a delicious sauce. The third course was a sheep ragout with delicious lorighittas and homemade pasta. 4. Roast goat in a delicate red wine sauce on mashed potatoes. The goat melted in your mouth – anyone could have eaten it without teeth. We shared dessert: lemon ice cream made with goat's milk and a chocolate cake with orange cream. Both desserts were simply divine. Including water, coffee, and a cover charge, €45. The meal was definitely worth €60. Everything was spot on and perfectly served. We could eat here every night. Fantastic.

The service is managed by a talented and competent man, always attentive but never intrusive. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is truly charming. The only farm to table restaurant we have encountered in Cagliari. The restaurant serves meat (goat and sheep this evening), cheeses, mushrooms, and wine from the farm. The pasta is also locally made. You feel like being treated as a guest of honour at the family farm, even though the restaurant is literally located on top of an organic supermarket. As opposed to many other Sardinian seafood restaurants in Cagliari, this restaurant is focused on land, forest, and mountains. We were so fortunate to have fresh porcini mushrooms and plenty of truffles. A true gem in Cagliari.

You always expect the best from a slow food restaurant. The fregola was good. The sheep's milk ragù and porcini mushrooms were almost tasteless. Our server was very friendly, but not very knowledgeable about transumanza, which is the name of the restaurant.

I loved the food at this restaurant so much !! Kudos to the chef for making us discover Sardinian food the typical way. We really felt like we were eating at an Italian grandma’s house. Very much recommended and great value for money if you take the tasting menu 45€ pp.

12/11/2025: I'd like to share my extremely positive experience with Bar Svevo in Lucera, a place of absolute excellence in the artisanal pastry world. For my graduation, I commissioned a pistachio and white chocolate cake, meticulously crafted down to the last detail. From the first contact, I encountered great professionalism, courtesy, and a willingness to listen to my requests, which were executed impeccably. The cake, in addition to being aesthetically stunning, proved to be a true masterpiece of flavor, perfectly balanced. Despite being transported from Lucera to Bologna by car, thanks to a suitable refrigeration system, the cake remained perfectly intact, retaining the freshness, texture, and flavor of a freshly made cake. The guests were thrilled, and the cake was unanimously praised both for its beauty and the quality of the ingredients. The experience was so satisfying that, shortly thereafter, I decided to order a similar cake again, in a smaller size, to celebrate my graduation with my family in Foggia. On that occasion, too, the result was excellent in every way. I also purchased mini pizzas and small pastries, products that stood out for their fragrance, flavor, and care in their preparation. These items also maintained their characteristics perfectly during transport, confirming the high quality of the workmanship. In conclusion, Bar Svevo has proven to be a go-to place for anyone seeking impeccable service, top-quality artisanal products, and attentive and professional customer service. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking quality, elegance, and reliability. A sincere thank you for helping make my graduation an even sweeter and more unforgettable experience.
