How could I forget the warm welcome and ambiance of this delightful restaurant in the historic center of Chianciano? I always visit the Val d'Orcia and Valdichiana a couple of times a year, and La Torretta is an ideal spot for lunch or dinner after spa treatments or a long soak in the pool. Walking in and seeing the room packed at 7:45 PM on a cold winter Saturday was an instant warming experience. I found the wait staff attentive and extremely friendly. They immediately escorted us to our tables, handed us menus, and dropped off our jackets. We noticed they interacted with all the guests with kindness, always making us laugh. Finally, I must praise the food, which is in line with the standards of this blessed land. Excellent traditional cuisine, with pici all'aglione and a peposo that's worth the trip. The torta caprese is also wonderful. I'll gladly return.

A spacious space with tables spaced just right—not that unbearable sprawl that makes you feel like you're a farm chicken. Refined cuisine and certified-quality ingredients are used. A wide selection of wines and a friendly staff are also available. The location is suitable for everyone and is ideal for those visiting the historic center of the spa town. Ample parking is available, although it's paid.

Well-kept restaurant. Narrow spaces. Welcoming and friendly staff. We ordered several items from the menu, but the ones I had decided to order were missing. Peposo and exceptional desserts!!! Portions were adequate for the price. We'll be back.

Friendly and helpful staff, excellent food

Everything was delicious, especially the pici with Chianina ragu! It's been a while since we've eaten so well anywhere else... the staff were very attentive and friendly, and the wait time was just right. Highly recommended.

The food is delicious, to say the least. Finally, a place to eat quality food. Service is efficient and fast, and the staff is very friendly. Prices are reasonable.
