This is a great place to enjoy and taste Pavian "casalingha" cuisine in a former medieval tower, converted and decorated in the traditional style.
The menu is simple, but offers essential dishes to discover and indulge in. Lunch is served on cloth tablecloths and napkins, making the €3 service fee worthwhile!
Finally, the wines offered by the glass or bottle hold some gems to discover.
😀 Frankly, "La Torre" is a benchmark, and the small owner, as frail as a twig of rice, serves excellent cuisine... for €65 for two!

Excellent restaurant in the historic center of Pavia. Prices around 15 euros for the first courses and 20 euros for the second courses, absolutely deserved both for quantity and quality. Very pleasant service, welcome meatballs and final dessert are offered. No waiting. Recommended

Amazing staff, very approachable. Didn’t make me feel uncomfortable when my internet wasn’t working and I couldn’t order since the menu was in italian 😭The girl and her mother who work there are so nice. Pasta was so delicious it melts as you try it. Also, the duck was well prepared and the carrot creme was great.

Exactly 1 year later I find myself here in Pavia and since last time I couldn't eat here this time I took the safe option and booked in advance.
The place is 2 steps from the covered bridge, it is very small, few tables but nice and well-kept, many memorabilia on the walls, beautiful.
The staff are all kind and attentive.
We sit down and they bring us pieces of mortadella with 7-grain bread (soft that seemed to eat a cloud, ah ah ah) very good.
In addition to the dishes on the menu there were several off-menu items.
As an appetizer we order cod and bacon with hot croutons and honey.
The cod served on 2 slices of good and tasty bread, but watch out for the bones. The bacon cut thin and melted in the mouth, good contrast with the honey. The portion of the cod is good, the "exaggerated" bacon for one person.
Next we ordered linguine with squid ink, prawns and cherry tomatoes, good (a little bland) overall a good dish even the portion was adequate. We also took a plate of tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, here I'm sorry to say there was a mix-up, unfortunately the plate was sent back.
It wasn't good.
We were also offered some shortcrust pastry baskets with lemon cream, good.
I really appreciated the behavior of all the staff after the mix-up, it's fair to say that I wasn't charged for the dish.
Overall I think the place is a good place and the staff is good but you have to be careful.
I'm sure that if I were to return to Pavia I would pop in again.

I had been there for dinner quite some time ago, I went this evening with a group of friends and we had dinner at the first table at the entrance, I found a beautiful environment, good food and service up to the prerogatives of the place. I would like to pay a compliment to the mother and daughter who run the place. In the end we also met the chef. I recommend it, go and try the cuisine of this place. We will definitely return.

Sabato 22 marzo abbiamo pranzato da Voi.
Piccolo locale da vera locanda, ma ben strutturato.
Personale simpatico e molto attento ai clienti (complimenti a Sofia).
Assaggiato vari piatti, le lasagnette ottime, ma le polpette come quelle della tradizione, croccanti e morbide, ma la quaglia ripiena una leccornia

Buon ristorante nel centro di Pavia.
Personale gentile ed efficiente.
Buoni gli gnocchi di polenta e farina di castagne al ragù di cervo e salsa ai frutti di bosco; ottimi i ravioli con ripieno di coniglio e patate; buono lo stracotto di manzo con polenta; buona anche la pancia di maialino da latte cotto cbt, con purea di sedano rapa e castagne (se vi piacciono la cotenna ed il lardo del maialino, che ne compongono il 75%).
Ottimo il semifreddo al torrone con salsa di cioccolato.
Bagno in ordine.
Da ritornarci.
