Da pavese "DOC" mi sono recato in questo location pieno centro città con amici e familiari per pranzo e cena. Devo dire che il locale rispecchia lo stile retró di Pavia, pulito e ben curato. Cucina ottima, il risotto con pesto di basilico e tartare di gamberi top, assolutamente approvato così come i dolci. Unica pecca, forse, l' antipasto di alici....si ouò curare meglio l' estetica ma veramente spettacolare in termini di sapore. Cameriere gentilissime, certo non è Cracco come alcuni scrivono recensioni pretendendo di essere al Grand Hotel ma la cucina e la gentilezza di cameriere e padrona meritano assolutamente! An enchanted place with extraordinary service. I also recommend it to celiacs. Excellent cuisine, wonderful and welcoming people. They also welcomed us with our little dogs.

Discrete, nothing sensational, definitely among the few restaurants in Pavia to return to. Service a little slow, but bearable. Excellent eggplant parmigiana. Glass of prosecco rated 7. The filtered water smelled, the bottle was not very clean, obviously replaced, but not to my liking. However, almost everything is frozen, you can hear the use of the microwave oven. Historic setting, tiring stairs if you want to eat on the first floor and you're no longer in your twenties. The restaurant is in a tower, one of twenty that have survived. Fantastic owner, very kind. High prices, but justified.

Excellent food! The gnocchi is to die for, the bread basket was top quality. For starters, the calamari and aubergine were all amazing. I got by with only speaking English but used google translate for the menu!

A good meal in great company!
We go to this restaurant on a Saturday in early June around 1.30pm, during our visit to Pavia. So we hadn't booked, but we still found a table for 3 people.
We were immediately made to sit down and the first thing we did was bring water.
The service is friendly, but the waiting times are a bit long.
The menu presents the right number of starters, first courses, second courses and platters. The desserts are also interesting. The dishes follow the tradition of the area, with seasonal ingredients and interesting combinations. The quality is confirmed upon tasting.
Prices are in line for a restaurant of this level.
I recommend it to everyone and I will keep it marked for future visits to the city!
