I had been there for dinner quite some time ago, I went this evening with a group of friends and we had dinner at the first table at the entrance, I found a beautiful environment, good food and service up to the prerogatives of the place. I would like to pay a compliment to the mother and daughter who run the place. In the end we also met the chef. I recommend it, go and try the cuisine of this place. We will definitely return.

They very obviously care about their food, service and the customer experience.
Once of the best Italian restaurants I've been to and one of the best restaurants in Italy I've been to.

We had dinner last night to celebrate our anniversary. The place is historic and very welcoming, with a friendly, kind and truly professional staff. We particularly appreciated the break between the last course and dessert: a small detail that makes the difference.
We started with the tartlet (simply illegal, really delicious) and the culatello accompanied by hot focaccia. For first courses, gnocchi with rabbit ragù and stuffed tortelli: an explosion of flavor in the mouth.
Memorable moment during dessert: we ordered the millefoglie and cream puffs. When serving, the hot chocolate is poured directly onto the puffs: the sudden silence of the room while everyone watched the scene was epic.

Buon ristorante nel centro di Pavia.
Personale gentile ed efficiente.
Buoni gli gnocchi di polenta e farina di castagne al ragù di cervo e salsa ai frutti di bosco; ottimi i ravioli con ripieno di coniglio e patate; buono lo stracotto di manzo con polenta; buona anche la pancia di maialino da latte cotto cbt, con purea di sedano rapa e castagne (se vi piacciono la cotenna ed il lardo del maialino, che ne compongono il 75%).
Ottimo il semifreddo al torrone con salsa di cioccolato.
Bagno in ordine.
Da ritornarci.

Locale bello e ben tenuto con tanti oggetti che fanno pensare al passato. Per la cucina da rivedere qualcosa: pasta al nero di seppia non mi è piaciuta a differenza del maialino fenomenale. I prezzi sono troppo alti per essere una trattoria storica e soprattutto per quello che compone il piatto. Mezzo litro di vino della casa a 12 euro è eccessivo ad esempio...
