I chose it for the location (a medieval tower!), I often go back for the food: everything is good, from the starter to the dessert, including the wines.

A very good experience, went there twice. Simple and no-fuss menu, recommendations based on fresh produce available, mushroom starter: fresh and fine; squid ink gnocchi: wonderful!
Good advice for wines. Family service, smiling and friendly. Regulars to Pavie make no mistake, remember to book!

Working lunch. Restaurant in the center of Pavia very close to the covered bridge. Rustic and welcoming atmosphere. Excellent service and everything very good.
In the photo pâté with sweet bread and pear jam.

We had high expectations and they were fully met! High quality wine and food: as a starter the culatello with hot focaccia was spectacular, the creamed risotto very good as was the Fassona tartare, the sliced beef and the crispy octopus, all really excellent!
For dessert we had berry sorbet, very fresh and light and a truly divine chocolate cake. With the coffee they brought us some chocolate truffles made by them and even though we were full we didn't miss the opportunity to taste them. This place is a flagship for Pavia. We will definitely be back.

"Osteria with kitchen", as we read on the sign, located in a medieval tower built as early as the 11th century, but subsequently much renovated. The interior is welcoming, with period photos and tools, which give a pleasant retro flavor to the environment; external tables also available. The food offering is carefully curated, whether it be local cold cuts or more elaborate dishes, with an adequate choice of wines. Prices in line with the offers and the location, in the center and a few steps from the covered bridge. Recommended!
