06/03/2026: A traditional Sicilian fish restaurant in the deepest part of the harbor, right on the pier. The 1970s feel palpable. But the fish and seafood are incredibly fresh and delicious. For decades, classic seafood dishes have been served here at a very high level. They also offer rare gems of "peasant cuisine," such as salicornia with garlic and olive oil. Oysters and lobster are also on offer, not to mention pasta allo scoglio, topped with a variety of shellfish, not just the inexpensive mussels. The owner isn't getting any younger, but he runs the place with a steady hand, from the crates of seafood displayed at the entrance to the attentive service in the dining room. The wine list is extensive and well-curated, featuring some real gems. Here, you get a lot: classic dishes cooked to a high standard, without any modern gimmicks, all at very fair prices.
