La Tigre In Bologna

A cute little place, and the couple who served us were really friendly. We had a great meal (bruschetta and pasta), and the dessert was delicious too; in our case, the cheesecake was so good we took a piece home.

Excellent traditional cuisine, a simple atmosphere, and friendly service. I go there every time I pass through Rovigo.

After a fruitless discussion with the manager (who encouraged me to change venues), I repeat: six euros for a small glass of Pinot is too much. It's a shame because the food is very good here. Barnard

Entering this osteria in Bologna is a bit like crossing the threshold of an old friend's house. He welcomes you with that genuine kindness that can't be faked, exchanging a few words as if you've known each other forever, and making you feel part of something. A modern observation, but with a clever take on old-fashioned Bolognese cuisine. The best Bolognese lasagna (and non-lasagna) since my grandmother's time: very thin pasta, green for the spinach, a little delicate béchamel, a tasty and not greasy ragù. Perfect roast beef, good cured meats, delicious goulash. Excellent desserts. A noteworthy wine list. The beer list is also enticing. Attentive and friendly service. A piano is available for those who know how to play. A stone's throw from Porta Castiglione and the Duse Theater, an elegant and pleasant area. Clean restrooms. Reservations are recommended as there aren't many seats. Highly recommended.

Everything was amazing! From the food to the staff!

We had a fantastic Easter lunch, pampered by Loredana. Everything was perfect: from the excellent dishes to the atmosphere. Despite our last-minute reservation, we were greeted with great professionalism. A special mention goes to the truly delicious "La Tigre" cutlet, and the risotto with asparagus and pancetta, a perfect balance of delicacy and flavor. I highly recommend this place. Kudos to the entire staff, and see you next time!

Great atmosphere. I ate there twice in a few days. The first time, I had gramigna with sausage, which was really good, and caponata, which was excellent, although a little greasy, but that's what the recipe calls for. The second time, I had lasagna with meat sauce, which was served burnt—not exactly professional, and therefore a little bitter. Then, the gratin vegetables were limp and sour, and definitely not worth serving. Perhaps the crowded place had something to do with it. The staff was courteous and service was quick, but at the expense of quality. Prices were in line.

Osteria La Tigre on Via Orfeo is a welcoming and quaint place, perfect for a quiet evening. Good food, fair prices, and friendly service, with an intimate atmosphere that makes it very pleasant. Overall, a positive experience.
