La Tigre In Bologna

A truly wonderful discovery by chance. Warm and pleasant atmosphere, good music, excellent food, and impeccable service.

We had lunch here on Sunday. I'd like to start by thanking them again for the warm welcome they gave us, even though it was already 2:00 PM. The place is very well-kept, with the perfect atmosphere. We took their advice and were extremely satisfied. The two celiac guests in our group were also delighted! Definitely recommended!!!

Authentic, original Bologna food. Expensive, delicious! You absolutely must visit this osteria.

A great experience and a warm welcome from the owner! The food was excellent, perfect for a traditional Bolognese lunch! We hope to keep our promise and return as a group of three.

I must say that both the crescentine and the cold cuts are of excellent quality.

We were the first ones there at 7:30 pm, and apparently all the tables were reserved, so we only got a tiny table. All the other guests, who didn't have reservations, got better, larger tables. That much was obvious. The schnitzel Tigre was average. Lots of breading. There was also a lot of breading on the vegetables. Overall, not a healthy meal. You'll only get full if you come really hungry.

A modern osteria, but with expert Bolognese cuisine from yesteryear. The best Bolognese lasagna (and not lasagna) since my grandmother's time: very thin pasta, green for the spinach, a little delicate béchamel, tasty and not greasy ragù. Perfect roast beef, good cured meats, delicious goulash. Excellent desserts. A noteworthy wine list. The beer list is also enticing. Attentive and friendly service. A piano is available for those who know how to play. A stone's throw from Porta Castiglione and the Duse Theater, an elegant and pleasant area. Clean restrooms. Reservations are recommended as there aren't many seats. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended! After walking 30 km through Bologna to San Luca, we dined at this osteria, having booked online. Luca greeted us and was incredibly kind in explaining Bolognese cuisine. He seated us at a table perfect for two, facing each other. The atmosphere is simple, convivial, and full of serenity, enhanced by a piano decorated with photos of music legends (including Ray Charles, an incredible coincidence for us, having mentioned him a few hours earlier, recalling the year 2000!). We ate divinely: Luca's excellent crostini, exquisite gratinated vegetables, an exceptional homemade lasagna, and a superb stuffed ravioli, all paired with a glass of Nebbiolo that made me feel right at home. If we ever pass through Bologna again, we'll definitely be back!

Amazing Food, the Gnocchi, Parmigiana and Lasagna are incredible. Our favorite restaurant of the trip!
