La Terrazza del Chiostro In Pienza

This place is incredible! The view of the hills, the setting, and the location are magnificent! We had a wonderful meal; the dishes were original and delicious. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was pure la dolce vita, just like you dream of it! An excellent experience for our birthday, especially with our one-year-old son, with whom all the staff were kind and understanding. I highly recommend it!

A place with a charming view of Tuscany. Perfect for lunch or a late dinner. The food and the overall experience were impeccable. The small menu means it doesn't take long to choose. The service is professional and has a sense of humor. We were with a larger group, so it was a bit noisy, but it wasn't distracting enough to be considered a downside. A place worth seeing.

While strolling through Pienza, after exploring its charming narrow streets on foot, we came across La Terrazza. We went in and were immediately greeted with friendliness and kindness. We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated at a table in the garden, which quickly filled with more people. For starters, we had slices of assorted breads and toasts, accompanied by spectacular olive oil. For lunch, we ordered a mix of short pastas with pecorino and pesto and a Pici with zucchini. To accompany it, we had the Nobile di Montepulciano red wine. Cantucci con Vin Santo for dessert and an espresso to finish perfectly. We loved our lunch, under that parasol, in that beautiful garden, in the Pienza of dreams. Impeccable service, courteous attention, we highly recommend it.

These dishes were not only beautifully plated but delicious. The pork belly was perfectly crisped, flavorful taste, and balanced with the cabbage. Amazing combination of flavors, textures, and tastes. The mixed salad had walnuts, spinach, fennel, radicchio, orange sections, and arugula. Delicious!! The sirloin steak was tender, flavorful and the rosti potatoes were a perfect blend of tastes. Cooked as ordered. The breads featured three different types and flavors. Each went well with the olive oil. Very much enjoyed the brunello wine. Easy on the palate! Service outstanding with the owner providing direction and support. Amazing teamwork. Recommend to all… you will not be disappointed here!!!

This is one of the best restaurants I have been in Pienza. The views are awesome. Food is great. Wine and bread a must have. I really enjoyed it. Plus it feels posh and at the same time elegant. Sit outdoor if the weather allows it. And enjoy food with a view.

Relaxed fine dining with a view. Super friendly service. Lasting memories. Such delightful hospitality! Delicious food, great wines and outstanding service. This relaxed gastronomic restaurant is a true gem. We had a wonderful dinner on the terrace with a splendid view over the valley on an August evening with our two sons. Do enter the historic cloister building: the restaurant is in the back of it, making its terrace a secluded, peaceful oasis. The sommelier will be happy to share his love and deep knowledge of Tuscan wines. He made us discover beautiful local wines. The gourmet cuisine serves excellent food with lots of respect for local produce. The place is relaxed, refined and authentic. The staff is the cherry on the cake: so genuinely friendly and professional! We very much appreciated the very personal service. We will return here whenever we are in the region.

The team here was pleasant, attentive, and aimed to serve! Most importantly, they delivered and surpassed my expectations. The food was absolutely amazing! It was the Best Florentine steak I've had, and the wine selection was superb.
