I went to this restaurant on the recommendation of the hotel we were staying at... and I don't know if I'd return.
The dishes were good (the knife-cut tartare, the slow-cooked egg, the cacio e pepe with truffle), but not memorable for me.
The service was high-quality in some respects (e.g., the opening and tasting of the wine, the cooking time) and incomprehensible in others (our glasses were never refilled, we sat for 20 minutes with empty plates from the first course, no one asked us if we wanted dessert or coffee... after 30 minutes we asked for the bill and left).
The location is magnificent, the markups on the wine list are incomprehensible.
It's certainly a quality restaurant, but I don't think I'd return given the service/price ratio.

The most beautiful place in Tuscany. Delicious food, incredible pasta, and the best steak you can eat in the region. Plus, an unforgettable view of the picturesque Tuscan landscape. The service is incredibly attentive and professional, and the owners – passionate and attentive to detail. The atmosphere is incredible – everything is top-notch!

A restaurant located next to one of the city's main hotels. It's a sophisticated place, but more expensive than average. We received good service, and the food was excellent. The value isn't the best; we found some dishes to be undersized.

Absolutely gorgeous setting and lovely food. The view is also incredible.
The service however was incredibly slow, even for Italy, which spoiled it for us. Our starter took about 45 mins to come, and our mains took about the same to come which even with the most patient of patrons gets very frustrating.

Go there for the view, not the food.
Great service, stunning sunset from the balcony.
Food left us underwhelmed:
rabbit and red onion ragu was overly sweet from the caramelised onion and honestly the rabbit could have been anything….had no flavour of its own.
Roasted chicken was okay, but the accompanying sauce was over reduced and tasted burnt. The other dashes of sauce brought colour only as I couldn’t tell what flavour they were supposed to be.
By far the most expensive dinner of our trip, but with a view like they have it’s almost worth it…..almost

The views and atmosphere were very nice. The portions were a bit small for the price. The service was good, but the waiters changed constantly. They have a gluten-free menu with several options.

So sad — this could have been the best restaurant I visited during my trip. At first, my family and I were warmly welcomed by a young man. Unfortunately, our experience took a turn when a larger woman came to serve us. From the beginning, she made it very clear that she was unhappy to be serving us. She was rude more than once.
We had informed the young man who welcomed us that we unfortunately had another commitment later, so we needed to finish by a specific time. He said that would be fine. However, after waiting nearly 30 minutes for our food, we tried to ask how much longer it would take. She responded with gestures and was extremely rude.
Throughout the entire meal, she treated us with a complete lack of respect. In the end, after my father tried several times to ask for the check, we had to make hand gestures to get her attention — and SHE VISIBLY MADE FUN OF HIM WITH THE OTHER STAFF MEMBERS. That behavior is completely unacceptable. This woman should not be working with the public.
If you expect to be treated with even the minimum level of respect and dignity, do not go there. The food was good and the view was nice, but it’s just not worth it. I never write reviews like this because I understand everyone can have a bad day — but in this case, it was just too much. I left the restaurant feeling really sad.
