La Terrazza Del Barone In Catania

09/08/2024: Restaurant on Etna with a wonderful view. We tried pasta alla Norma here and it was delicious, better than some places in Catania. We tried the Lava liqueur, which warmed us up well, and you must try it, I'm sure you've never tried anything like it. The restaurant is very comfortable, has a lot of space and a good selection of food. There are pastries and fast food that can be served immediately, but also dishes made to order, such as pasta, various meats and the like. The treats are also very tasty. We also tried the white wine, which was excellent. There is also a gondola next to the restaurant but we didn't go because of the strong wind and it is a bit more expensive, there are also many souvenir shops where everything is made of lava stone and you can also take stones from Etna as a souvenir and memory. The weather was very bad for us, so we didn't go far, but there are many hiking trails and craters that you can visit. There is also a well-equipped shop on the ground floor below the restaurant and you can even rent or buy a wardrobe.
