It's not the first time I've dined here, and I must say it always satisfies me 100%. They always serve the freshly grilled meat very quickly. Their horse meatballs and horse steak are always superb. Every time I pass through Catania, it's a must-try; it revitalizes my stomach and my taste buds. The bill is always top-notch, too!

Carne di Cavallo! We tried horse meat for the first time here and we're overwhelmed by the flavour and how tender it was. I'd recommend the mixed platter of grilled horsemeat, if trying for the first time. It's very generous and really creeps up on you towards the end for feeling satisfied. It appears to have a lot of local patrons andthe fortunate tourists that are recommended to this restaurant or find it while exploring Catania. Service is good and the staff are busy as it was quite full across two inside seating areas and the footpath seating area. Dessert was a ricotta torta that was as good as the meal and the espresso was as you'd expect in Sicily. This restaurant has left a great impression on us and when we return to Catania, we will visit it again.

Great place to eat near the center and on a budget, with plenty of choice on the menu. The dishes are generous and truly excellent. We ordered three first courses and a horse meat mix for around €60, the best price for four people. And not only is there a complimentary bruschetta each, as a welcome gift, which I, as a customer, really appreciated.

Excellent restaurant for traditional horse meat. Excellent location; parking is available on nearby Via Osservatorio. The slice of meat was delicious, and the sausage was tender and flavorful. Perhaps I was a little unlucky with the meatball, but I found it to be bland. The prices are super competitive: a mixed roast horse meat for just €13. Efficient service and a welcoming location. The cashier is very kind and friendly.

I was very satisfied with this place. The prices are really excellent; the mixed roast horse meat (the one in the photo, but missing the horse sausage) is actually 13 euros. That horse meatball, the rolls, and especially the sausage, which melted in your mouth, were exquisite. The wait time was very short, as everything arrived in about 15 minutes. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to eat out well and on a budget. I also recommend the mixed roast meats (normal or horse meat).

I had dinner at this trattoria in Catania, specializing in horse meat, and it was a very pleasant experience. For starters, we were offered bruschetta with garlic and cherry tomatoes, which were truly delicious. We tried the horse meatballs stuffed with pistachio cream and a mixed grill, both very tasty. The place is simple and a bit spartan, but the staff is friendly. The overall cleanliness could be improved, although the bathrooms were in good order. If the place is very busy, the cooking might suffer a bit, but overall, I highly recommend it!
