Arriving in Courmayeur we try this restaurant recommended by a friend who spent many years in the Aosta Valley. We enter and notice a very nice rustic mountain decor. The staff is very kind, the menu is very well structured, a very positive note, on the front page the beers of the Courmayeur micro brewery (nice and not obvious to see a local product promoted, especially if the area has a craft brewery). We ask for raclette with moccetta potatoes and pickles, given the time they didn't know if it was still possible, but they immediately came with stone and pans. I admit that we were happy because it was very good and deserved a lot. The desserts are very good, perhaps a little expensive, but they absolutely do not disappoint expectations. The staff is professional and friendly, the bathroom is very clean. Very honest prices for Courmayeur. Definitely a fixed stop when we return to these areas.

A great place for a delicious meal
The atmosphere in the restaurant is cozy, as soon as we entered we were greeted by a very kind and smiling man.
I ate an incredibly tasty meat and my husband ordered a typical dish of this place: fondue.

Typical and I believe historic restaurant of the area. Couple's dinner. Simple and good dishes. Average price being in Courmayeur. The only flaw, in my opinion, is the management of the spaces. Tables too close together making them very uncomfortable. Very persistent and annoying voice in the room.

We probably had an unlucky evening, at least I hope (for them).
Friendly service, pleasant and typical environment.
Unfortunately the dishes were disappointing.
Some examples: Maltagliati with wild boar ragout, tasteless and devoid of flavour. Barely warm Valle d'Aosta escalope, the fontina melted only on the surface and the slice of meat practically cold. Apple strudel at fridge temperature.
A real shame.

Sono stata per la prima volta in questo ristorante per una cena in famiglia.
Il ristorante è molto curato, l’ambiente è davvero accogliente e piacevole. Abbiamo preso una bourguignonne; la carne tenerissima, magra e deliziosa. Direi la più buona mai mangiata, la carne non è mai cosi tenera!
I camerieri sono attenti e veloci; a servire il nostro tavolo era un signore con i baffi, estremamente gentile e premuroso soprattutto con i bambini; mio figlio è stato supercoccolato!
Ci tornerei!
