La Terrazza In Courmayeur

The menu combines mountain tradition and Italian cuisine, with meticulous presentation and balanced portions. The service is attentive and professional, helpful without being intrusive. Prices are in line with the area and the type of restaurant. A pleasant place to eat well and enjoy the atmosphere of Courmayeur.

Rather disappointing, not one to usually write bad reviews although was far from the best experience. We were given two menus and said there others were coming shortly, Which finally arrived 30 mins later after asking twice (we were a group of 6)we didn’t get asked our drink orders until 40 minutes after arrival. Ordered the veal burger which was alright although it came with a side of sweet potatoes and courgette which was very stale and seemed like it had been cooked days before and attempted to reheat although was very obvious it had not been cooked on the day. Very rubbery, hard and cold. The waitress was rather nonchalant, forgot drink orders and dropped cutlery on our table. I am aware things can happen in the restaurant business although it felt it was one thing after another. Desserts were decent however. Wouldn’t not rush back especially given the higher price for area.

Spurred by positive reviews, on our only day in Courmayeur, we decided to stop here for lunch. We came in with high expectations, but left with a hefty bill and were dissatisfied. Two first courses, a still water, and two desserts, €72. The smell of eggy taste in the glasses, which we immediately changed. First course: risotto with creamy blue cheese and blueberries. It arrived really al dente, so we sent it back, and the same risotto was returned four minutes later. My opinion? Since it was cheese risotto with blueberries, it should have been remade, not taken back. Polenta, no complaints, excellent. But I had to wait for my wife, so it got cold. Desserts were above average. The bill was incorrect (she ordered a drink she didn't order), which was immediately contested. We're normal restaurant goers, not food critics, and we understand that perhaps we've had a bad day, but there's no way to confirm or disconfirm. Too bad.

We arrived without knowing anything about it, but we loved the place. The service is excellent, they are very friendly, and the food is of great quality. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.

We had a wonderful family lunch this Saturday in Courmayeur, and what a great find! We had a truly delightful time at this restaurant. The welcome was warm from the moment we arrived, and the staff were very attentive throughout the meal. The dishes were delicious, prepared with high-quality ingredients and beautifully presented. The whole family thoroughly enjoyed themselves, from the appetizers to the dessert! The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, perfect for a family lunch. A big thank you to the entire team for this delicious and enjoyable experience. We will gladly return on our next visit to Courmayeur. I highly recommend it!

I had lunch at this restaurant in Courmayeur, found online, specifically requesting the Fondue Bourguignonne. It's a typical local dish and is therefore offered at several restaurants, but I chose Ristorante La Terrazza because the Fondue Bourguignonne is included in a fixed-price menu that also includes dessert. The meat was delicious and tender, the sauces were exquisite and not at all heavy, and the baked potatoes were exceptional! Everything was perfect for this lunch! The house wine was also appreciated. The atmosphere was very refined. The real surprise is Mr. Ciro, who with great skill, a skill that unfortunately is increasingly rare these days, knows how to entertain customers with jokes, advice, and a great deal of professionalism. When I return to Courmayeur, I'll come back here to try the rest of the menu.

Top restaurant! There were five of us, and we sampled some amazing starters, followed by an excellent sliced ​​steak paired with a lovely Valdostan Pinot Noir. Not to mention the delicious desserts. Excellent service, and the owner, with his trademark mustache and dazzling smile, was incredibly friendly.

Wonderful lunch! The waiter was incredibly kind, polite, and attentive to the children. All the dishes were not only beautifully presented, but also truly delicious.

Friendly from the start, the staff was attentive from the moment we arrived even though it was packed. Their veal stew was hearty and comforting. Gnocchi with yuzu pearls and pancetta-superb! Our dolce was caramel with a spirited little boost! This restaurant is worth including in your Courmayeur visit. Tip: Looking to sip some Aosta Valle spirits? Try the Genepy!

A treat in the center of Courmayeur. Excellent food featuring traditional local dishes. We'll definitely be back.
