Today for lunch with family. I chose this restaurant for the quality of the food and the convenience of the large tables, which allow you to converse in a very relaxing way. Starters: autumn salad, lasagnetta in carassau bread and poached egg with parmesan cream, accompanied by a sparkling wine. First courses: trofie with cod and crusco pepper (for those who love a first course with a strong flavour), tagliolini with sardines and colatura (more delicate), as well as passatelli with radicchio and ham. There were those who followed, wanting to taste the Catalan prawns and the sliced ​​Iberian pork. To accompany first and second courses we chose Roero Arneis. Someone had dessert and we finished with coffee. We had a very good time, as expected. Just one small note that doesn't detract from the kitchen... the bathrooms show the age of the place.

Very beautiful location, but the food is not up to par, paeilla with almost all the clams closed (one diner defined it as "hospital-like"), onion ravioli good but a child's portion, chicken telpura too greasy, but the note the more painful the bill is more than €55 each. Never again!

06/01/2025: Unique location in Bologna, always a pleasure to go to dinner, both in summer and winter. It is located just outside the center of Bologna. Everything taken care of down to the smallest detail. Friendly and professional staff. Excellent food and wine list. always for me one of the most beautiful restaurants in Bologna. On Friday evenings, after dinner it is fantastic, there is a DJ playing good music and you can taste quality cocktails. Internal parking but often full. Use this place for parties but also for romantic dinners. Congratulations to the owner for the idea of ​​this format.

Ristorante Pizzeria Il Saraceno

18/12/2024: Very nice and clean restaurant. Good pizza. I had an appetizer of prawns with lard and pistachio sauce and a very good risotto, I don't recommend it (white rice with lemon without an identity), a pleasant sweet caprese cake with mascarpone. Here's EXCELLENT STAFF AND SERVICE.

The hosts of this place are completely charming, smiling and warm people. Their cuisine reflects their image: generous, tasty and authentic. Il Saraceno is a restaurant I often went to during my Erasmus and the service was always impeccable. I have often had a pizza there; Their pizze menu is well stocked, the value for money is more than adequate, the crust succulent, the ingredients fresh. A very good address not to be missed during your visit or stay in Bologna.
