Returned after many years. Nothing has changed; it was excellent in its simplicity, and it is excellent. Excellent value for money, with traditional cuisine and traditional staff. Highly recommended.

The best crostini of my life, excellent seafood pasta. And the homemade dessert is exceptional! A very, very nice place away from the tourists. The chef is a virtuoso! Bravo, I'll be back!

I recently visited Taverna Verde in Bari and I must say it was a very positive experience. The restaurant has a welcoming, rustic atmosphere, perfect for feeling at home even when you're away from home. We tried some traditional Bari dishes: the spaghetti all'assassina was flavorful and nicely spicy, the seafood risotto was fresh and rich, and to finish, the traditional desserts like sporcamuss were delicious. The mushroom pizza also deserves special mention for its light crust and quality ingredients. The staff is courteous and helpful, always ready to offer suggestions on dishes and wine pairings. The prices are fair, good value considering the quality of the dishes and generous portions. The location is excellent, near the Porto Vecchio, with a beautiful sea view that makes the meal even more enjoyable. In short, Taverna Verde is an excellent choice if you want to savor traditional Apulian cuisine in a friendly, family-friendly atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Spaghetti all'assassina, truly expertly made!

Lively Italian atmosphere. It seems chaotic, but everything is in its place. The service is nice and fast. The pizza is freshly baked, the pasta is fantastic. I recommend the homemade tagliatelle pasta. There are also small bottles of wine, for one person. There are many tables inside, and it is air-conditioned. I recommend it!

An excellent restaurant on the Bari waterfront where you can enjoy traditional Bari cuisine. I had excellent pasta all'assasina, and I must say that for anyone looking to eat well in Bari, Taverna Verde is a must.

I really wanted to visit this restaurant but I was a little disappointed. The appetizers weren't bad but not excellent either. The pizza was rubbery. I ordered a beer that was brought to me hot on tap. To finish, I ordered a dessert that looked like it was made in 1915/18. The icing on the cake was the waiter who seemed annoyed and couldn't wait for us to leave. We left completely disappointed.
