We felt very, very comfortable here. The food was delicious, authentic, and freshly prepared. We ate there several times during our stay in Bari.
The pizza dough is traditionally made with sourdough starter (Lievito Madre) and has a long fermentation period. I was able to chat with the pizza maker and get a piece of dough, which I'll use to make my own.

In a busy area of Bari, this is a nice place with excellent service. We had a delicious mixed appetizer, along with some first courses, including orecchiette, turnip greens, and spaghetti all'assassina. All excellent and plentiful.

My last dinner in Bari was here: orecchiette with turnip tops was delicious, to say the least. My craving for spaghetti all'assassina was satisfied with a dish that reminded me of the flavors of my grandparents' meals—it's beyond compare. The 5 stars are well deserved, especially considering the hospitality, professionalism, and, above all, the staff who make you feel at ease. Highly recommended!!!
