La Taverna di Fra Fiusch In Moncalieri

I've been to the tavern a couple of times for special occasions, to celebrate my parents' anniversaries or birthdays. My parents are omnivores, but, being vegan 🌱, I expected, as in many other cases of Piedmontese restaurants, a flat no to the request to eat at them. Instead they accepted my request by veganizing an artichoke-based appetizer and a pumpkin risotto on the menu and even preparing a tofu-based second course off the menu (which was really good) and I was pleasantly surprised, as well as satisfied with the goodness of the dishes.

I had the pleasure of dining at the Taverna di Frà Fiusch and the experience was simply extraordinary. From the warm welcome to the impeccable quality of the dishes, every aspect of the evening was taken care of down to the smallest detail. The environment is refined but welcoming, with particular attention to furnishings that creates an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. The staff are extremely professional and courteous, always ready to offer advice on dishes and ensure that every need is met. The menu is a true celebration of Piedmontese cuisine, with dishes that combine tradition and innovation. I had the opportunity to try almost all their dishes, and every bite was an explosion of flavours, all prepared with the freshest ingredients and presented impeccably. The wine list is equally impressive, with a selection that will satisfy even the most demanding palates. The sommelier was exceptional in recommending a perfect pairing for my meal. In summary, the Taverna di Frà Fiusch is a place where the passion for good food meets high-class service. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to have an unforgettable gastronomic experience. I will definitely come back to discover other delights from their menu.

This is a fantastic venue. The typical food of the Piedmontese tradition is mixed with the creativity of the chef. The quality of the dishes is excellent. The service is fantastic. Super available to advise. It was my dad's birthday and without asking they wrote a happy birthday on the plate. Very cute. Pet friendly. Breathtaking view from the living room window. An experience that I recommend.

What can I say, if you want to take a journey through Piedmontese cuisine, this is definitely the right place!! I personally really enjoyed the food, the place, the wine....

Family lunch, location on the hill with splendid views from the dining area on the first floor rewards the environment itself. Generally sufficient service, the courses must be served together to all the guests present, perhaps waiting a few more minutes, it is not pleasant to make those who receive the course wait waiting for the others to arrive too. Personally, I appreciated the well-cooked and tasty octopus, much less the orange duck (served at the table like guinea fowl? but surely an oversight on the part of the waiter in the wording), which I found to be stringy, dry, very hard to chew with little flavor on its own. The bubble water (sparkling) definitely freshly carbonated can be improved for those who drink this drink. Good desserts, price in line with what was eaten.

Tutto buono, piatti ben eseguiti ma porzioni troppo piccole. A parte i primi che sono in porzione normale il resto è di porzioni troppo ridotte. Il mio cuore di baccalà non aveva nessun senso, era solo un assaggio. Non è proponibile come piatto alla carta in quella miserrima porzione, va bene se lo servite all’interno di un menu di più portate. I dolci non mi sono piaciuti, in passato erano meglio. Adesso un po’ banali e neppure troppo buoni

Menu piuttosto invernale ancora, non leggerissimo.. Cucinato bene con porzioni abbondanti. Servizio attento, veloce fin troppo, occorre anche dare il tempo di assorbire.. Chiesto una Nascetta, non c'è quella della carta, ne portano una ben più costosa del 2021. Ora, è vero che si tratta di un vino che può essere bevuto più invecchiato, ma per oltre 30 euro mi piacerebbe poter decidere io. Avrei preferito uno più giovani.. Nel complesso sempre un valido ristorante
