Di passaggio a Montalcino cerchiamo un posto dove mangiare e ci incuriosisce il menù esposto di questo locale, scegliamo un antipasto GRAN BAIETTO, buono ma forse un po' esagerato nel prezzo 35,00€ anche se i prodotti erano buoni non è proprio un prezzo leggero. I primi deludenti, i pici al tartufo completamente insapori il riso allo zafferano secco e asciutto da non riuscire a finirlo. Esperienza sicuramente non esaltante

Super positive experience in this place.
We were staying right across the street from this place and had dinner here two nights in a row. Very good food, with real Tuscan flavours. But compliments must be paid to the wine, which thanks to the guys who take care of the service will become the protagonist of your evening.
The details relating to the wine are not left out by Valentina who accompanied us on these two dinners, always available and friendly with us.

Excellent experience, impeccable service. Very nice is the fact that you can choose the bottle of wine directly in the wine shop to accompany your dinner. Fantastic selection with many labels and for all budgets.
The food was good, the platters with cheeses and bruschetta were excellent. The first ones are average.
The variety of liqueurs for after dinner is excellent.

I had a wild boar pici and the sauce was really good! I would have loved it more if the pici doesn’t have some hard bites. I constantly ate some very hard chunks of pici, suspecting it is microwaved as it tastes like when you use higher watt to microwave bread and some parts got too hard due to loss of hydration. Otherwise it was really good.

Great place! Excellent service and freshest products. The takeaway paninis were great, too bad we were in a hurry and couldn't stay for lunch and wine tasting.

Eravamo capitati a Montalcino in tarda mattinata, e visitando il centro ci è venuta voglia di mangiare un panino al volo per poi ripartire verso altre destinazioni. Vedendo esposta la proposta di questa taverna, ci siamo incuriositi e alla fine abbiamo ordinato 3 panini, tutti diversi tra loro. Dire che erano fenomenali è dire poco: caldi, croccanti, materie prime buonissime, gusto strepitoso. Abbiamo preso un panino anche in un altro posto a Montalcino ma questi erano senza dubbio di un altro livello. Ritorneremo senz’altro appena avremo la possibilità! Grazie mille, e ancora una volta erano strepitosi!
