Excellent pizza!! Exceptional service. There were two of us and we each ordered one pizza (salmon with arugula and grana; and another with buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto). Since the pizzas are so well-made and generously topped, I believe one would have been enough for the two of us. But they were delicious. Besides the pizzas, they have a varied and well-served menu!

La Taverna del Duca was one of the best meals we had in Amalfi. The food was superb and the atmosphere felt authentic and relaxed. I ordered the monkfish pasta with chilli and it was incredible. The monkfish was fresh, tender and perfectly cooked. The chilli gave the dish a great kick without overpowering the flavour of the seafood. It was one of those plates you genuinely do not want to finish. My wife chose the lasagna and it was equally impressive. Rich, comforting and clearly homemade. The layers were generous and full of flavour. Exactly what you hope for when ordering lasagna in Italy. The house red wine was also a pleasant surprise. €15 for a litre is excellent value in Amalfi and the quality was very good. Smooth, easy to drink and perfect with the food. Service was friendly and attentive without being over the top. The whole experience felt welcoming and authentic. If you are in Amalfi and want excellent pasta, good wine and a genuine local restaurant, La Taverna del Duca is well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is located in the heart of Amalfi. The food is good, but the staff just waits for you to finish and then says goodbye. There's a 3 euro service charge per person.

Was recommended La Taverna del Duca by our Airbnb host in Amalfi as one of the better restaurants in town. We thoroughly enjoyed it and were served an Antipasti of fish carpaccio followed by the mixed seafood pasta, followed by the catch of the day, sea bass with a tomato salad. Fresh pasta in the mixed seafood pasta was spectacular. Service was excellent, and the local beers were some of the best I have tried. A bit on the pricier side, but to be expected when staying in Amalfi. Absolutely would recommend due to the excellent food and great people watching location.

Wanted to order Lasagne but found out it was frozen and warmed up by Microwave so asked for Spaghetti with Meatballs. The meatballs are not what us English would think made out of beef they look like big stuffing balls. Sauce was like tomatoe soup.

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere in this family run restaurant. Genuinely friendly people (wait staff can be quite stiff and unresponsive in Italy), and classic dishes without any fluff.

We were lucky to get a table here for lunch. Really nice restaurant. Food was great and service very efficient. Would recommend to stop by!
