Rustic, comfortable and welcoming environment. Kindness of all the staff, excellent work. We didn't follow the menu proposed by them but on the roast side I compliment you on the choice of meats. Good wine pairing

The tavern of Coccodrillo is a hidden gem in the heart of San Giorgio Ionico. Family-run trattoria, it offers an authentic culinary experience that makes you feel at home. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and as soon as you enter, you are immediately greeted with a smile and a glass of house wine. The menu is a tribute to the culinary tradition of the region, with dishes prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The starters are a riot of flavours: from local cured meats and cheeses, to meatballs and fried foods. The meat always sublime. Stands out the lamb always tender and tasty and the livers, both cooked to perfection by Mino who is always ultra professional. The service is impeccable: Antonella knows how to make you feel like a special guest, with genuine and discreet attention. The value for money is excellent, making each visit an experience that not only satisfies the palate, but also warms the heart. I'm happy every time I go back (and I'm not I tell lies) and I wish these hard-working, young people with a strong propensity for catering the best in life!!!!! Nicholas.

Excellent discovery. The €25 "alligator menu" menu is very good: appetizers (ground platter with mozzarella, salami, speck and cheeses, fried meatballs with sauce, potato croquettes, meat with spicy sauce like goulash, grilled aubergines, bread, olives and tarallini), second course (mixed roast with normal and spicy bombette, breaded strips, and various types of sausages), side dishes (salad and chips), lemon sorbet and dessert (cannoli filled with custard), cover charge and drinks included (water , coke, house wine and beer). For €5 more there is the €30 menu with mixed starters (not only land but also sea). The place is nice, the service attentive. Nearby there is also a lovely little bar with a view of the viewpoint. Homemade cuisine and generous portions. I advise!! I will definitely be back.

Tutto nella media, ma senza far gridare al miracolo. Va detto, però, che i ragazzi si sono prodigati nonostante l'estremo caos. Piatti discreti e prezzi accettabili. Tutto sommato credo che ci ritornerei.
