We were very hungry and looking for an open restaurant during siesta hours. The owner saw us reading the menu and opened Taverna especially for us. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs in tomato sauce, which were delicious! The owner is a wonderful, warm, and very friendly woman.

We found this Family tavern 19.10. 2025 ,we were very satisfied with both the service and the prices. Young friendly waiter, everithing was perfekt, fine domestic wine, food and nice atmosphere !

Tiny menu, but everything is delicious. Highly recommend. We have spent the last nine days in Puglia and this is one of the best restaurants we have come across as far as authentic delicious food

Visiting Puglia today, we were in Trani, and around lunchtime, we stumbled upon LA TAVERNA DEI SUONI. A real success. The food was truly home-style. The portions were generous and very good. The service from the couple who run it was exceptional. They played background music for us and provided wonderful service. Highly recommended.

Here you can taste authentic Italian dishes—everything is fresh, cooked with love, and served with care. If you want to eat well at a fair price, this is the place to go. My father completely fell in love with the seafood pasta, while I fell in love with the orecchiette with tomato sauce. Highly recommended!
