3 weeks in Santa Maria and a lot of lunches at La Tartaruga because it is just brilliant. Staff are friendly the food is delicious and the position is perfect. Mauro the owner is a class act running the restaurant and looking after his customers. It’s been a special part of our trip and we will return

This is my second time here with my family (Monica and Peter) and partner. The food is excellent, the service is great, a bit hectic and wild, like the sea which is right in front of the restaurant. Highly recommended. Really good fish dinner. They know their craft.

Non è un vero ristorante, semmai è un porticato di una concessione balneare attrezzato con tavoli e stoviglie in riva al mare prospicente la spiaggia. Si mangia molto bene, i paccheri al pomodoro e tonno sono eccellenti così come gli scialatelli ai frutti di mare, deliziose le alicette fritte (una porzione), buone le birre, buono il servizio del proprietario unica nota un poco dissonante sono i prezzi, da ristorante vero in due abbiamo speso 60 euro

Mangiato divinamente. Servizio celere nonostante fosse pieno. Pesce di qualità e porzioni abbondanti. Lido ben tenuto con vista mare magnifica.

29/12/2024: Nice and clean environment, friendly and pleasant service, excellent dishes, we tasted practically the entire menu in a family lunch and I think that 5 stars are too few to define the goodness... The fried fish is absolutely worth trying 🤩 Try it and you won't regret it.

18/11/2024: Goodness, DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE!!! The food is simply fantastic. The menu is simple, food quality is TOP and the value for money is amazing. The look of this place is nothing special, it is near to the road and the car parking is limited. But when you sit down and then when you taste the food you will love this place for sure. Service is fast and smiling. The speciality of the house is the cheese which they produce themselves and there is also a shop where you can buy their products to take home. And the pasta is also totally wonderful! Wine is great and the beer too so what is not to like???? The best of Italian food is here at totally modest prices too.
