I ate delicious fish, the atmosphere was lovely—not fancy, but traditional. The service was good, and it's easy to get to because it's in the center. The owner was friendly.

A smallish location. The food is good and the staff makes you feel at ease.
The flaw? The prices are exorbitant...
For two spaghetti with clams, I paid 40 euros, come on!
For a limoncello, which was diluted and of poor quality, I paid 5 euros.
Recommended, but be careful about the prices.

I must say that as soon as you enter, seeing all the tables so crowded together during this time of year makes you a little anxious. That said, our waiter was very polite, professional, and attentive to our needs.
We had an appetizer of ricotta, shrimp, and burrata flan, which was very good.
Then the grilled octopus was excellent, and the fresh fish (sea bream) in a baked potato crust was also delicious. The typical dessert "della monaca" was also decent.
The price was reasonable, although the fresh fish was expensive considering it's a seaside town.
Overall, a good osteria with restaurant-like prices.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante a pranzo del 25 aprile 2025, nonostante il caos abbiamo mangiato bene. Abbiamo preso soute, grittura e polipo arrosto e fritto, tutto buonissimo ed abbondante. Cameriere super gentile. Grazie

Just visited this amazing local fish restaurant! We were treated by Nicolò with great passion and Taylor made us a scrumptious lunch: we were served with variety of crudi and warm starters which we enjoyed sharing. As main course we had Nero di seppia orecchiette together with fresh fish stew! Lovely experience! A must visit if in Bari old town!
