The food was good. The problem was we ordered a starter (beacause you have to, it is mandatory if you want to sit there) with price by kg... so we said ok, it is a starter. But they brought us one kg of octopus for 2 persons even though we've also had a main dish (mandatory again). In the end we paid 105 euros for a normal lunch with a lot of wasted food because we couldn't eat that much. Let's say it's ok, we didn't mention how many grams of food we wanted in the first place..but the real problem was that after we ate and paid, we were siting at the table just drinking our water and someone from the staff approached us and asked if we want something else and I said no thank you, We are just staying a couple of more minutes to relax. And the lady told me if I don't buy anything else , they kind of need the table because people are waiting. So what? It is not like I just bought a bottle of water and sit there for 3 hours. I just paid 105 euros so at least I can enjoy my water in peace. And by the way there was no queue.

Excellent experience. Great service from the head waiter, when we arrived he approached us with a plate of fresh fish and explained in detail all the suggestions of the chef. As a starter they served us 3 octopus dishes, all cooked in different ways, and as a main course we had black orecchietti with lobster cooked with tomato in lobster juice, exquisite. He also recommended a rosé wine, ideal to pair with the food. The waiters were always attentive to every detail and made us live a first class culinary experience. They do not accept reservations, for dinner and on a first come, first served basis starting from 7:00 pm. I recommend you arrive 15 minutes early, you will not regret it.

Every time I pass through Bari, a pit stop here is a must... and every year it gets better and better! Yesterday 05/29/25 we were passing through Bari, and despite the late hour they were helpful and very kind in serving us, even though they were closing. Two spectacular fried foods and an octopus sandwich that melted in your mouth. I finished the sandwich for breakfast this morning, and it seemed like it had just come out. Very tasty burgers or dishes with fries and grilled octopus 🐙 Salmon. Incredibly high quality – incredibly tender octopus. The best Aperol Spritz in Bari with real Aperol and good Prosecco. Very friendly owner. Across from the fast food joint is a small room where you can eat comfortably. Since there were seven of us, he made extra room. Very clean. Simply great.

Just visited this amazing local fish restaurant! We were treated by Nicolò with great passion and Taylor made us a scrumptious lunch: we were served with variety of crudi and warm starters which we enjoyed sharing. As main course we had Nero di seppia orecchiette together with fresh fish stew! Lovely experience! A must visit if in Bari old town!

Venuti qui consigliati da mio padre che è anche lui da tanti anni nella ristorazione. Che dire, servizio e cibo ECCELLENTI! Il cibo semplicemente fantastico! A partire dagli antipasti come le polpette di polpo, alle mezze maniche con misto di pesce (sugo meraviglioso!) fino alle buonissime fragole come dessert. Pino e il suo carisma ci hanno conquistato sin da subito, ci ha spiegato il menù in modo veloce e chiaro e aiutato nella scelta delle portate. Posto piccolo e con pochi tavoli ma ne vale davvero l’attesa! Super consigliato e un’ottima scelta gastronomica per gustare le pietanze tipiche baresi e pugliesi. Ottima selezione anche dei vini.
