The best gelato we had in Rome! Authentic flavors without any frills… You absolutely must try the Strega hazelnut gelato. The mascarpone gelato is also delicious.

I made sure to do a gelato tasting in Rome, and this was without a doubt the best. When I finished it, I hesitated to buy another because I'd never tasted anything like it! The mascarpone and hazelnut gelatos are incredible. It's a small shop with hardly any advertising, but they don't need it; the flavor speaks for itself.

Best gelato in italy. Not much more to say. If you get the chance try the lavender flavour. Quirky ones are just as good as the traditional chocolate.

Lovely little Gelato place. We went based on the star rating on Google and were not disappointed. Flavour choice was great and price was very reasonable we felt. Staff were lovely!

Ristorante Tanti Baci

07/11/2025: Everything was delicious, we felt at home with Andrea.
03/11/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant with my wife. The place is quite small—I'd guess about fifteen seats—located on one side of the Torraccia square. While the location isn't anything special, it's still welcoming. Once inside, the magic happens: you're greeted by the owner and chef Andrea and his expertise, passion, and friendliness. My advice is to skip the menu and take his advice; you definitely won't regret it. We did, and everything was perfect, from the wine (which, if I remember correctly, was called "Micagnente" or something similar), to the appetizers, and so on, all the way to dessert and digestifs. A blend of revisited tradition and innovation, all supported by quality products, research, and good taste. Everything was delicious. If I really had to choose, I'd say the crispy vegetable meatballs and the onion tartare were tops (I'm making up the names since I haven't seen the menu 😅). All the appetizers were also special (the stuffed ricotta moussine and the venison prosciutto are also worth a mention). The gricia with asparagus was also very good, while the gorgonzola, arugula, and honey (or jam, I can't remember) straccetti were less memorable. Also noteworthy is the table service, provided by a very young man (unfortunately I don't remember his name) with the same passion and charm as Chef Andrea. Don't expect formality or impeccable professionalism, but you'll definitely feel at home. It's like having a brother who's a chef and going to dinner at his house... We'll definitely be back to try the other specialties! EDIT: We also returned with our two children, and I can only confirm the excellent previous review. In fact, if anything, I'd say we were welcomed even more warmly. Using only fresh seasonal produce, we were able to try the autumn menu: the gnocchi with gorgonzola and 'nduja are spectacular, and the pork "fungo" with mushrooms is simply brilliant. Andrea, besides being a brilliant chef, is also a uniquely empathetic person: when he told us we were there to celebrate a milestone, he even gave us a bottle of prosecco! A final note on the price: for the quality of the food, I'd say the prices are more than fair. When we looked at the receipt at home, we wondered if he'd forgotten to write something down!

27/10/2025: If you ever find yourself in Fiumicino, just minutes from Rome’s airport, do yourself a favor and stop by this incredible Italian gem. From the very first bite, you can taste the freshness and love poured into every dish. We ordered the fettuccine and carbonara, both perfectly balanced and cooked to that ideal “al dente” texture Italians are famous for. The carbonara was rich yet light, creamy without being heavy, and the fettuccine melted in our mouths with every bite. Our server recommended a local Lazio wine, and it turned out to be the perfect pairing—smooth, aromatic, and the kind of bottle you remember long after you leave. Everything—from the warmth of the staff to the simple elegance of the setting—made it feel like a true Italian experience. You can tell every ingredient is fresh and locally sourced, and every dish made with heart. We loved every little piece of it. A must-visit if you’re near Fiumicino or heading to the airport—this place alone is worth the trip!
18/10/2025: Close to FCO Airport, wonderful flavors and creative dishes
